that seems optimized, I think I'll steal it. It looks like fba was just acting really weird the other day, not having any nvrom problems now

in records the service button in mine fbarr 5.01, and it doesn't seem to reset the nvram every time you replay a movie, just the first time

I tested it, works fine, the best way to get the service button ( f2 default ) is just to hold it down as the game boots and you'll get it as soon as possible. On problem is that the game doesn't start from a clean nvrom, meaning once you boot the game and enter the codes you don't need to redo it when your recording a movie, but also makes it so you need to delete it every time you run the file or the game might not boot

yeah not all characters have supers that work well together. You can do Ryu and Ken lv3 at the same time, and of course you can do delayed super without the super cancel.

ok here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k22w_sc0DU&feature=player_detailpage#t=45s if both characters super cancel at the same time they can both use the same meter both players doing rapid fire jabs can keep the opponent locked in hitstop, negating all pushback there are a few weird things that happen when you hit the opponent with a physical attack and a throw on the same frame, here you can see it puts the opponent in standing state floating above the ground

I actually brought this up a few years ago http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8176&highlight= I think the best thing would be to try and submit it and see what people think about using the cheat. chun was a brave choice, I know how hard dramatic battle with charge characters is I should make one of these, I've found quite a few a3 dramatic battle glitches

And why aren't you using the useful option to change the characters to display ghosts/shades? Or was this already answered?
It's not an in-game option, and if you are changing stuff outside the game then really whats the limit, plus it slows down the run

yes, but I think one of the goals should be, gets the best ending otherwise beating the game goes counter to getting all the furniture, beacuse it destroys the castle

voting no, it's a great game choice but the goal is too arbitrary

the mirror room is a genuinely cool platforming idea, I'm surprised I've never seen it used in a game before

I'll vote yes, beacuse this was well done, but I think if someone does a Syobon Action 2 run this run should be obsoleted

lol nice, he is super broken, If I remember right, if both players do his air fireball super it slowed my playstation to a crawl. The Saturn version is closer to the arcade right? I've never played it, but Yabause-rr is a saturn tas emulator.

I would totally be able to do such a thing with my Sidewinder X6 keyboard on the PC version I have.
yeah I use a sidewinder x4 but there are some good software macro tools available. Autoit or AutoMacro are better then autohotkey for this kind of thing, but hardware options seem the most precise. I've actually used that Sixaxis Emulator, it works really well if what you want is to use a keyboard on a ps3. It has some macros built in but it lacks the precision you would want. What motojohnson probably uses is something like this http://www.ncsx.com/www/ncs0330/ncs0406/asciipad.htm These Asciipad are hard to get a hold of in America nowadays but are the best option for tool assisted ps3 stuff here are some recent videos I made http://youtu.be/9BpkJ3sZczs http://youtu.be/bIh18an30RQ http://youtu.be/bIh18an30RQ

What was the point in taking damage in the first fight? It seemed to serve no purpose.
I think it's really funny that CPU Ryu is programed to do an instant overhead that most characters can duck under. I manipulated him into doing it and got hit by it to show how easy it is to punish on hit. I totally respect that it doesn't make a lot of sense if you're not familiar with instant overheads but I find it really funny.

yeah, quickest possible kill screen wouldn't be entertaining don't think it's supported in fba rr so you would have to use mame-rr it has better memory watch features then fba anyway, if that's all your interested in

in mvc and msf zangief can do a air command normal ( like d+mk ) on his first air frame of a jump and it will cancel the jump but keep him airborne for a few frames. This means he can empty cancel any normal on hit by doing a superjump and then canceling the sj. He can do air attacks on the ground, or if you don't want an air attack you can walk forward for a frame. He can gain meter like crazy by doing canceling a jump with d+hp beacuse you still gain meter for doing a normal. Because your still airborn after if you alternate d+mk d+hp you gain meter for whiffing a normal every single frame, it takes him around 15 frames to gain a meter this way. Meaning you can have full meter in about half a second from the start of the round

venom is a good choice beacuse of all the web glitchs in the game vemom has some weird looking infinates abusing the fact that he can cancel any punch in to lk, and cancel lk by ducking also consider Zangief, controlling two characters is the highlight of the game and Zangief can gain full meter in a second with his jump canceling I've had syncing problems with mvc before but I haven't tried it recently
