idk if this is the place to post this - could the submission text/commentary link be added to the description? Seems to be standard when movies have detailed submission texts or author's commentary, so not sure why they weren't linked here.

ok fixed the map and added 26 frames IGT/38 frames RTA of last minute improvements, mainly a new strat in the beginning of 3A. I haven't fully tested this file (can't really on my computer) but I tested that the changes made worked and updated the frames mentioned in the annotations accordingly. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/59704130845022648

is there another reason you used CelesTAS? Does CelesTAS allow you to load a save state from a previous execution?
I mentioned avoiding threading-based desyncs but there are a few other reasons: Our TAS tools make small modifications to other parts of the game, like showing hitboxes, removing the visual distortion caused by dashing, and showing us useful information like position/speed that would be harder to work with in libTAS. While we can't really use savestates (apart from using one in-level as a starting point for a TAS), we can replay the TAS in fast-forward up to a certain point, which shouldn't take more than a few seconds even for longer levels. Also we just rerouted 8c and I have to redo that image, I'll try to make the poll stay on screen lol

For encoding, photosensitive mode should be turned on, along with screen shake being turned off. It definitely makes a difference in a run where it's often hard enough to see what's happening.

The RTA run has used 5b for a few months now, and 6b, while theoretically faster, is extremely difficult and only done by a couple of runners, so this run is more comparable to the human run than a TAS that only completed A-Sides. The 100% run will collect strawberries, as well as the crystal heart and cassette tape in each A-Side.
