If you publish this, may I suggest "Only one zombie was harmed in the making of this film" as a tagline?

A suggestion for future Metal Slug runs: if you set the ROM to Japan, the soldiers will bleed red blood instead of spill milk when you kill them. Looks nicer.

My friends were really into the Morimoto video back in the day, but they lost interest when they saw me actually trying to make my own clip. Since then...it's pretty much just been my thing (not that I make movies anymore).

I consider most of these "lost skills" to be obsolete and rightly left behind. Lives and continues just don't belong anymore, not when I'm buying the game outright. Passwords died almost immediately after they were invented because having a saved game was better in every way. Memorizing special moves is still important, but having in-game movelists is a just convenience. Same goes for maps. I shouldn't have to refer to a notebook when playing a video game.

Two thoughts about the video description: "Uses a suboptimal character?" The description and the video clearly shows Maria to more "optimal" than the hero. Isn't there another way we can put this? Rondo of Blood is not a "prequel" to Symphony of the Night, it precedes it. Prequels are sequels that take place before the earlier story. You cannot retroactively label an old movie, video game, etc. a "prequel" just because a sequel is made.

I feel really, really bad about this. It doesn't seem real. I suppose there will be rumors soon that it's all a scam to evade the massive debt he supposedly had.

Added my own Xbox Live tag. That's right, I'm on all three consoles! Although I must admit my Wii isn't hooked up these days...

I'm sticking with my plain "Orange" theme...which is red.

I'm a dummy, because it took me hours to realize you included a YouTube link. Very nice. I commented there, but I might as well ask again here. Why include all of the dialogue? Can't you skip nearly all of that talking?

Guess I'm shocked by two things: WOW, we have PlayStation runs now? Huh, you used a password. I'll have more to say once I figure out how to watch these files. This is the only PS1 game I have on me right now - in both English and Japanese!

BioShock is way out of my PC's reach, but I bought it on PS3 so I'll enjoy it on my TV. I was really taken aback by Doom and Doom 2 being sold for 99 cents apiece. I spent more money wrapping my Christmas presents than that, so I bought both of them in an instant. Really looking at Audiosurf now, as it's down to $5. Seems like a great idea, although so far I am lousy as hell at the actual game.

Well, I'll keep fooling around with it, but I've watched scores of TAS videos before and this is the first one that crashed my video player. Maybe it's something to do with the new MKV format, although I did watch the Mischief Makers video and that's an MKV as well. But clearly, it's my problem...

Anyone else having trouble with this file? It's crashing every player I try to view it with. Tried to convert it from MKV to something else (with a new program, so it might be my problem), and I got an "unsupported audio codec" failure.

Let me be the first to deny any connection to this game or its developers! I just think it's fun.

I came across this little game on Rock, Paper, Shotgun and I finally got around to playing it tonight. I thought it was simply delightful - a reasonably challenging game that still offered convenient checkpoints to avoid too much frustrating repetition. There's also the charming artwork and, let's be frank, an honest sexuality to the story that I found refreshing. It's not titillating or sensationalist at all; the creators simply laced the opening and closing artwork with a lesbian S&M element and it made me giggle. I wish more games included adult themes like this. Anyway, you can download the game here. The materials claim the author's best time is nine minutes. I took about twenty the first time I managed to complete it. I figured you folks can probably do even better (maybe even TAS it?)

That's pretty incredible! Of course, you'd need to gain some serious levels anyway to beat Super Dracula and his full-screen spiked wing attack.

Whoever is responsible, that title screen image should be the picture for this game. Amazing graphics! This run was much better than the film of the same name. I think marching through acid and blindly eating hits is what the real Robocop would do. The "boss battle" was a great example, you ignored them completely and completed your mission. Great job!

I like this run but I disagree with the "no warps" description, since you clearly use a door glitch to warp to another room and you use that flying backwards move to pass through certain rooms at warp speed. How about "defeats all bosses?" As I recall, Maxim doesn't even need to fight all the bosses to fight Dracula, just a select few. So you went out of your way to lay waste to every serious monster in the castle and then destroyed Dracula himself (what's left of him).

A small town right next to the biggest city in the entire country, and right next to a huge and beautiful river. You were a lucky boy.
Funny thing is, the older I got the more I wanted to spend my time in that big city... I hope someone showed you our beautiful dam.

Okay, I didn't follow this topic as closely as I should have. I guess I assumed Bisqwit wasn't going to update throughout his trip. Croton-Harmon? My mind is blown. That's where I grew up

The only real "sequence breaking" bit I knew was the double-jumping, and I couldn't even get that to work.

By "board games," do we include Trivial Pursuit? Because I love that game.

If higher difficulty is simply a matter of "bosses take more hits," then I'd agree with a faster, more entertaining run on a lower setting. But if harder means "more enemies" then that will make the finished product more fun.

After years of ignoring the All-Star Game, I wish I could have watched this one. AL wins again though, and that works for me.

I hope this one hasn't been posted before (or done to death). It's a look behind the scenes of Dr. Wily's latest scheme which is facing a few budgetary and logistical issues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpP_BKPa5Oc
