I saw that one...it's hard to believe they didn't edit that or something. What a non-sequitur! I started watching Walker after Conan started showing those clips. It's an absurd program, full of bizarre moments like that.

It's pretty useless for NYC addresses. It doesn't zoom close enough to offer any identifiable details. Same with my childhood suburban home. Kind of amusing though.

Look, irregardless of the weaknesses of Wikipedia, the Flat Earth Society is very real. It is not a parody, a joke, or a stunt. It is very old and they're serious. Whether that website listed above is real is an entirely different story.

That's cool, I thought of an elephant and the computer figured that out. But then I thought of a black hole and it couldn't figure that one out (it's first guess was Cancer).

No, it's a real society. You can read a brief history here.

OH GODDAMNIT, it's ON now...you dissed the Yankees! It's all good. I'm sure I hate the Mets as much as you hate my Yankees. Baseball is my favorite sport. I like [American] football and I root for the Giants. Basketball/hockey interest me from time to time but I have no passion for them. I generally root for the teams who occupy Madison Square Garden. Soccer entertains me but I don't really know any teams.

I'm 5'9" or maybe 5'10". I'm taller than my dad (he's 5'9") but shorter than friends who claim to be 5'10". So I'm in the neighborhood of 175-178cm. Not particularly tall, but I'd wager I weigh more than most of you. Oh wait, that sucks.

I'm also offering invites at this time. Bumping this topic so that some of our newer members might notice. I'm really enjoying my Gmail as the ads are easy to ignore and the "Conversation View" is really handy. I'm also looking for work right now and a giant mailbox comes in handy as a lot of my mail has attachments lately.

Glad to hear this movie is finally finished. I watched much of the WIP runs and I really enjoyed them. Adding to the "nostalgia vs. game quality" debate (and responding to Bisqwit's puzzlement over this movie's popularity), I must disclose that I played this game a lot as a youngster so that adds a lot to the experience for me. I can't watch this completed run right now (Dad's computer + dialup = I phail) but I look forward to watching this once my computer is up and running again.

The good news is you can still see Mars this fall (not August), although it will be 20% smaller than it was in 2003 when this notice first circulated.

AVI files may be missing for a number of reasons: -The movie may have been obsoleted by a newer run. -There may have been problems in the encoding process. -The movie might be so long that it cannot/will not be encoded. As a rule, though, the movie files are created for the site by Bisqwit not by the author of the run.

Wow. That's why I can't play GTA anymore. If 7:46 is the "best" time, imagine how long the casual gamer would have to play. I can't commit to anything that in depth. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Every day this game seems more and more creepy. When will someone make a game where Joe Pesci saves children from Michael Jackson? Congrats on the vast improvement. I'd vote but I can't really watch these movies on this "interim" computer I'm using.

Only played one version, "Animelo," in Japan. Nothing but anime theme songs. I loved it. "Cha-la Head-cha-la!"

What makes a video game character cool? Ask SNK. They made more badasses than anyone else-
  • Iori Yagami
  • Ryuji Yamazaki
  • Geese Howard
  • Rugal Bernstein
  • Terry Bogard
  • K'
  • etc...

This is my favorite photo, more because of what it represents than how I look. For a mosaic-less look, try this one. 8/9/05 EDIT: I just went to a wedding where I looked pretty good (by my standards). I added the photo to my Nesvideos user page. 11/13/05 EDIT: Wow, I've lost a lot of weight since this thread started. Check this out!

Curses...I'm stuck on my dad's dial-up connection so viewing these pages is pretty much out of the question.
