I know where my HOSTS file is (I edit it to block most advertisements), but how do I do what you suggest?

For the record, it was Raiden in the arcade games but Rayden in the console games, except I think it's Raiden in MK:Deception which is console only. Why? Who knows...probably some kind of licensing conflict. There is an arcade shooter called Raiden and a Fatal Fury character called Raiden as well. Of course, those are properly pronounced "RYE-den" rather than "RAY-den." EDIT: Just watched the video, very cool. But with the power of slo-motion there should be even more possibilities. MK3 on SNES had a cheat code that offered slo-mo gameplay and I was able to do ridiculous things I could never accomplish in regular play.

OK, I watched it and saw the difference in the Ganon battle. Could you explain the (presumably necessary) delays between attacks? Sometimes you slash him continuously and other times you seem to give him some time to catch his breath.

OK, I have a few thoughts before offering a YES: -Did you consider/calculate obtaining the machine gun? I'm pretty sure it fires faster than the handgun. -Why not collect some ammo (or the machine gun) to better defeat the boss? When your ammo runs out, your rate of fire and the speed of your bullets slows down. In any case, this is very nicely done. This game is pretty damn near impossible to beat normally.

Dammit, i just watched your first submission and you improved it already? I don't have time to watch the whole thing over again right now, maybe later/tomorrow. YES vote, of course. What's different about Ganon this time?

According to my elementary research, that came out in 2003. But please, say more.

I like this one a lot. I never knew big Z could land a nine hit combo. Out of curiosity, is it possible to "hold" someone (not throw them, but hold them) and slowly inflict damage until their entire life bar is depleted?

I made the same mistake when I was looking for Doki Doki Panic, although I never played the game once I realized it wasn't what I wanted. Does Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube count as a "hidden gem?" Because that game was cool and I don't think many people bought it.

I wasn't posting that to bash you, but I found it interesting your ability to piss off people isn't limited to this site. Hell, there isn't even an entry for 'bisqwit' or 'time attack' yet.
How do you know thats me ? Well If I piss people off then it must be losers because this is the internet and they need to not get uptight, and if they dont like me they should just ignore me then. [rant not quoted] anyways back on subject, what does this have to do with my topic, would you stop flamming me and get back on track.
If that's not about you then it's got to be one of the largest coincidences in Internet history. And since when did it become our responsibility to ignore you? This isn't "your topic" any more than this is your website. No one gave you carte blanche to come here, rant and rave about whatever you feel like, so we could all politely look away. And I'd like to point out that most of the discussion here goes on despite your constant braying.

Goddamn, you have Dr. Slump manga? I downloaded one fansubbed episode and I thought it was very funny. People say it will never be formally released here because it's "too Japanese." I know there a lot of Japanese people in South America, but that's ridiculous.

Great find, Viewer. <bookmark'd> I think one of the biggest changes made in the dub is casting. In the original, Goku (and Gohan and Goten) are played by a woman, Masako Nozawa. I always felt this contributed a lot to his innocence, kind of like how women traditionally play Peter Pan. Goku doesn't sound macho, because he's not. Kuririn is also played by a woman, Mayumi Tanaka, for similar reasons. I can see why people dismiss DBZ as mindless fighting, but I honestly believe it's more than that. The dub doesn't reflect that, which is why I hate it.

I enjoy Dragonball a lot, although the manga is a lot better than the anime because it doesn't waste so much time. Less subplots, reaction shots, etc. BTW, as soon as I saw this topic I thought of this post and laughed a little bit.

No, I was thinking of inductive logic/reasoning which is separate from mathematical induction.

... Plus I dont care if you dont care about it or not. This is the off topic section I can post anything I want, if you dont care about it, dont bother replying to me about it then. Then that shows that you really dont care.
It is the "off-topic" section but this is still a discussion board. No one is interested in your daily misadventures on IRC, just like no one wants to hear which exams I took this week or what I had for lunch. You don't have the right to "post anything [you] want," that's called a blog. I'm going to err on the side of "who cares?" and lock this topic. To those who can, feel free to reverse my decision.

I don't know if I'd call that an inductive "error" but induction, as opposed to deduction, arrives at a conclusion that is not a certainty. I could easy say: The sun rose yesterday. The sun rose today. ------------------------------ The sun will rise tomorrow. -but we have no way of knowing for a fact that the sun will rise tomorrow. Something could happen to the sun, or to us, and our argument would be proven wrong.

何? OK, they start with Super Mario Bros. (why they needed to pantomime is beyond me) then segue into Dr. Mario before doing the Hammer Bros. theme from SMB3. Then it's the Invincible music from Mario. They start "acting" like Tetris pieces (although isn't that tune originally from somewhere else?). At this point I am reminded why I hate acapella groups. The Mortal Kombat thing is totally out of place because (A) that music isn't in any MK game, it was a promotional techno piece used to market the game (and the movie), AND (B) they introduced this medley as "from Japan" and MK is American. Last three are: Mario's underground theme, Zelda's overworld theme, Mario's game over theme. For more acapella without the theatrics, I recommend checking out Megamatt's "Brinstar" over at http://dod.dragolf.net/(05-01)_January_2005_-_Metroid/

good points. this is my first movie, so i know there are mistakes in it. i thank everyone for the critique. in terms of taking damage, i only tried to take it when i HAVE to. the game also moves so damn fast that it would take me forever to make a movie that i dont miss a single swing in. the stops in the movie are actually to queue certain spawns, whic in turn allow for a faster time.
Game speed is irrelevant. The emulator should be used to slow the action to a frame-by-frame crawl, if necessary.

I'm not the admin but I don't see why distributing a patch (provided it is separate from the copyrighted ROM) would be a problem. May Bisqwit smite me if I am wrong, but share away.
