Ha ha...oh my. I should take this opportunity to mention Crispy New Freestyle: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/video/freestyle.php This kid has a homepage but all the downloads seem to be down right now. And to be fair, I am an amateur rapper myself. My friends and I are working on a little ditty which, if we ever complete, I will share with you.

Two thumbs up for me. Loved the damage shortcut in the opening stage.

as for desynching, i used the "improved" snes9x that was posted here in the snes9x forum with all the default settings. the rom is the english one.... dunno what the problem is other than maybe you're using the wrong timing on the emulator?
What settings did you use? I have no problem watching Omni's run on the same emulator.

Before I even watch it, you should be aware that a normal speedrun (without rerecords or slow motion) done by TSA last year clocked in at 1:44:45. Your video needs to be much faster than that. http://speeddemosarchive.com/lttp.html I've heard rumors of a 90 minute finish, but I cannot confirm that. EDIT: The movie desynced when you tried to open Zelda's cell. Up until that point, I can already tell you not to collect the lamp in your house and don't waste time picking up the jars to fight the guard.

What's up with the password you entered? Is that for added difficulty?

This is getting better. My biggest complaint is that you used the European version which runs at a different speed than the US (or Japanese) version. I like the variety of attacks used, but I must question why you miss sometimes. Quite often your opponent falls down dizzy but you keep attacking all the same.

Faster than the Fei Long movie? Yes. But you make the same mistake he did: not enough variety or exploration of the slow-motion.

Always amused when the Japanese version is full of English. Seems like a good start. I liked the Cutman battle.

An interesting exercise, sure, but not particularly entertaining. Meh.

GANNON-BANNED. Seriously though, this was mildly amusing. Thank you.

I had to vote no because you did not adequately explore the possible combos of Fei Long. A quick FAQ search suggested that six-hit, seven-hit and longer combos are possible. And that's without the benefit of slo-mo or rerecords. Furthermore, your opponents block a lot and consequently the fights take too long. Another reason the fights take too long is you knock the opponent down more often than you have to.

When I watched it, the movie stopped before the Triforce finished talking, so I had to press buttons to advance the text to the credits. Is that a desync or did you stop the movie too early?

I completely forgot about the restart. I'll have to put some more thought into the path.
Doesn't restarting in this one take a long time? I remember the restart going back to the title screen, which means watching that Triforce animation every time.

A Playstation time attack is entirely possible. The downside is ePSXe doesn't create small input-only files like an FMV or SMV. It records the entire game. Even a few minutes is a very large file.

I have no desync problems, not that it helps anyone with theirs but just to reassure VIPer7 that there is nothing wrong with his (?) recording.

For a game set in a post-apocalyptic future, the music is remarkably cheery. Sounds like Kenshiro is going for a stroll in Candy Land. Also funny is the notion that an arrow hurts Kenshiro in the slightest way. That's like Superman being hurt by a bullet. All in all, well played.

A friend of mine who owned a Mac would talk loads of shit about Marathon. He insisted it was "better than Doom." I disagree.

I thought of the other one. During Quickman's stage, he uses the Time Stopper to freeze those instant-kill beams. But why does he run off the screen to the left and reappear on the right? What time does that save?

Yes, the only person infringing on the LEGO trademark is Viewer with his misleading original post. I should use my powers to smite him and his hateful, actionable message. Just kidding, thanks for the find. I will try this.

That video kicks serious ass. However, I have questions and I'm not sure how to ask them. Even if I translated them into Japanese, could I understand the answer? Not likely. Two things struck me as odd: -During Wily Stage 4, he fires a superfluous Item 2. It's only purpose seems to be to drain Item 2 a little bit so he can exhaust it later in the stage. What purpose does that serve? -I suddenly forgot the second one.

OK, I'll be the one to ask. What's going on with this new manuever? Is there a precise frame to jump off of the ladder that allows Rock to defy all physics?

I no longer own any NES, SNES, or Genesis cartridges. I do have quite a few NEO GEO cartridges however, and they're bigger and more expensive.

I'd also like to compliment the work you put into your demonstration file. Very nice! I liked how you taunted the palace guards by running near them.

I missed this movie somehow...guess it came in during my vacation. Anyway, I vote YES but it should be noted that you do die during the exploitation of the glitch. Who can break the eight-minute mark?
