'kun' means ... like "Mr.", I think. In Kanji, 'kun' is '君'. It means friendly or familiar.(^_^)
I think Bisquit was surprised that feitclub would be so familiar with you and speak so plainly.
Firstly, it's Bisqwit. I admit I was a little bold in using "-kun," but when I typed "Teri-san," it didn't look right. Judging by Teri-kun's response, I feel my choice worked out. Although, he didn't answer my question: どこに住んでいる?東京?大阪?何歳だ?

Awesome caps, man. I never noticed that Draygon's gut opens up when he dies. Gross.

Draygon should be the big green boss in Maridia, right?
I believe so. Killing him with a Shine Spark was awesome, and I wasn't even expecting a glitch to happen. Back in my day I always killed him by using the grappling beam. These movies show lots of exciting, new ways to murder. ^_^

Ummm... What is the "Meh" button for? ;)
When I say "Meh," I mean "whatever" or "nothing special." I am assuming Bisqwit has a similar definition in mind, so voters may say "I don't particularly care about this movie." By the way, Bisqwit, if you're reading this, I suggest using a capture of Samus' Shine Sparking attack on Draygon to represent this movie. Teri-kun, thank you for answering my questions. I understand now. どこに住んでいる?東京?大阪?何歳だ? [Where do you live? Tokyo? Osaka? How old are you?]

Looks pretty cool. If you can avoid the bombs, things will be super-sweet.

I believe the extra item collected was the Energy Tank after Ridley. This was, if I may offer a guess, to refill the tanks and allow for a faster escape of Ridley's lair using Speed Booster/Shine Spark. The best Japanese word I know to describe this run: スゲ! I do have questions: [1] Why did you turn off Hi-Jump Boots? [2] Why did you turn off some beams before boss battles? [3] What happened after you defeated Draygon? Samus turned blue?

Exactly my point. I didn't want to sound like a dick but I don't know how "constructive" I can be when this appears slower than an unassisted speedrun.

OK, well, I started watching it but I quickly stopped. I guess you're just playing it for the hell of it? I can't offer constructive criticism because, so far as I can tell, you have no particular goal in playing this game. You certainly are in no particular hurry and you're not using re-records to correct any mistakes. Also, for the record, submissions should begin from reset, not from a savestate. That includes inputting your name. Also, unless it is totally unusable, you should use an American or Japanese version of the game rather than a European version because the latter will run awkwardly fast.

If they had posted messages, how could they be "inactive?" How often must I post to remain "active?" I don't expect to contribute much at all over the Christmas break because my computer will be in my dorm room while I won't.

I'm bumping this for two reasons. One, I wager most of our newer users haven't seen or heard of this page before. Two, there's a mysterious "Anonymous" with some 408 posts listed, yet when I try to view the profile it says the user does not exist.

Are you using turbos or do single button presses fire multiple shots? It seems like you often fire too many shots, often in other directions.

I believe "cartoon," by definition, is a satirical or humorous drawing, so "Animation" applies to anything animated without categorizing its content.

So the popularity of "Japanese animation" has destroyed its distinctiveness, at least categorically speaking? How ironic.

I'd like to see someone make a run of these Ninja Gaiden games with the cut-scenes intact. That way I know the whole story. Ninja Gaiden: Ninja of Love. oh yeah, YES vote, natch! [EDIT] Post #500

I guess it's not a line so much as it is a checklist. Big O II and Bloodlust sound like Japanese creations, even if their intended market is American. Robotech is a "rewrite," you say? Like MXC is a "rewrite" of Takeshi's Castle? If so, then Robotech is an American creation based on a Japanese animation. Dual Masters sounds like a Japanese animation based on an American work, unless I misunderstood your description. Is your paper about Japanese Animation specifically? You could include a paragraph summing up the difficulty of classifying media by nations.

I don't know what gens 9c is, but this movie worked fine on 9a. As far as the movie goes, well, I'm not a fan of this one. Just one man's opinion here, but this is a slow-moving game done quickly, apparently.

No, but all ties go to Linnom. ^_^ Bottom line: what you've shown so far looks pretty cool. Just make sure you're faster if you want to be considered for publishing.

I guess I would lean towards a literal definition: "Japanese Animation" is animation created by Japanese people. "Creation" is a multi-part process, so I guess I'm going along the lines of "the more Japanese, the better." After all, we've all heard the line from the Simpsons: "I'm here in Korea where American cartoons are made..." I'm pretty sure Koreans end up doing most of the animation for a variety of foreign countries. However, I wouldn't consider them "creators." So "Transformers" is not "Japanese Animation" as it was written (and I think produced) by Americans, not to mention originally performed in English. Same goes for "Samurai Jack" and most everything else Cartoon Network pumps out these days. In our increasingly global society, this issue of "creative nationality" is becoming a hot topic. You might have heard of the recent French film (the name escapes me) which was deemed "not French" because of foreign investors.

OK, Bisqwit completed my thought. I know entertainment can trump speed, which is what I was getting at.
