There is also a fifth Castlevania game, which is really cool looking and has great music. It resembles the lost PC Engine classic, 悪魔城ドラキュラX:血の輪廻, a.k.a. Dracula X.

Given the route you have chosen, Iceman is only quick fight, as he dies in three hits. Cutman takes two hits, but that's from those blocks which are slow to use. Every one else will take five hits or more, and Bombman jumps around a lot. How many hits does the Clone take? I bet at least six. EDIT: Not to pressure you or anything, but how is this time attack coming? EDIT 2: He's not called the "Rock Monster," although that is a common nickname.

Absolutely use the pause trick. I don't think people realize how much time and weapon energy it saves. If someone wants to time attack Mega Man without using this glitch, they can try it. But if they shun this glitch then they shouldn't abuse any glitches at all.

I think from a "how-useful-is-this" perspective, I give the nod to Mega Man's pause glitch.

From C. Moriarty's FAQ: The Magic Cross is a must is that it's the only way you can enter Dracula's Castle at the end of the game, so you MUST get it from the Crying Mask in the final mansion (Laruba Mansion) before proceeding onward. EDIT: For some reason this post isn't formatting correctly. Sorry.

Left-clicking, right-clicking, and copy&pasting link all go to "forbidden" page. EDIT: Right-click "Save Target As" just worked. Maybe it's a traffic thing?

For me, the addition of sliding and Rush make the first two games feel completely different than the others. I'd say I enjoy part II a little more than part I, but both of them are far more enjoyable than any of the sequels.

Shouldn't you be writing the makers of the game in Japan? I doubt some bean counter at Nintendo USA is going to give two figs about a decade-old game.

Now that my classes are over I'll be happy to help in any way. I don't have sufficient hardware to create movies, but maybe I can help out with general maintenance or something?

Just an F.Y.I: New Woodman movie is up, complete stage. Very exciting. Look for "新ウッドマンステージ攻略動画" It's the first link beneath the screenshots of Woodman's stage.

How soon do you think you might try and get it? I guess I don't know what route you have in mind.

What is your plan regarding the Magic Wand? If my memory serves me correctly it's as strong as the White Sword, at least in striking power.

When I use Kazaa Lite K++, no one's IP address can be seen. But Bit Torrent lists everyone's IP address for everyone to see, including the RIAA or MPAA.

This came up in this other thread, but no one noticed. Is there Bit Torrent software that is anonymous? I use BitTornado which, as shown here, offers no anonymity nor does it care to.

Should i take damage if it pushes me forward?
I'm just speaking my mind here, but I would prefer to see artful dodging rather than taking hits. Unless you're using your invincibilty to clear some difficult obstacle, damage doesn't look good. Even if it pushes you forward, what does that really save? One second in a 30 minute movie? Don't get me wrong; you're the guy who's doing all the work here, I'm just talking. If your final product involves a lot of damage but comes out to be super-short, then more power to you. Remember what Abraham Lincoln (or was it P.T. Barnum?) said: "You cannot please all of the people all of the time."

Yeah, I saw your Fireman movie in the BBS. Nice work. EDIT: Just watching your "pending" FMV. Awesome work, Bisqwit. The Dr. Wily levels should prove a real challenge as your weapons won't automatically refill.

While exploring yarukinasu I wandered into the BBS section and found this site: http://one01.s6.xrea.com/rockindex.htm There's a lot of Japanese, but the movie links are easy to spot. Take a look at some these tricks! I wonder if Megaman 3, 4, 5, or 6 have these kinds of holes to exploit? Or does Rush not allow it?

I just wanted to point out this website which we've mentioned before concerning glitches, bugs and shortcuts: http://kontek.net/davidwonn/snes.html#L His Link to the Past section contains an interesting item which explains a shortcut we should be considering. "Reach the Dark World Early" and "Finish the Game with only 11 Hearts" outline a fast track that allows for skipping quite a bit of gametime, including 2 of the 3 pendants and the Master Sword!

Killing Ganon is a must. Get any sword at any time (whatever's faster) but you should kill him. Otherwise your time attack will end with your death, and that's not cool. Personally, I would avoid heart containers, and I would like to see a lot less damage being taken.

I think you should catch the bird, otherwise all you have to do is start the bonus and fall down off the screen.

If anyone made a Megaman X time attack, I'd want them to get the Hadôken attack. I know it takes a while to get, but it was so hard to obtain and use, that it would awesome to see someone master it.
