I downloaded this video but found it unplayable. Is there a new codec being used?

Agreed. [23:39] <|null|> if someone can close topics, that is a prime candidate

I have one questions: How did you throw those Metal Blades so that they hung in space? That was some Dio Brando shit right there...awesome!

Elebits is awesome and this is why. Not as intricate as the other ones obviously, but it's notable mostly because it's in-game.
Dammit, I was already yearning for a Wii in my heart and now you've laid another game I want to play on my mind.

BUMP - Found a "best of" clip on YouTube. The sound desyncs towards the end but there's lots of fun things here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XyWWQaW-ZU Searching YouTube for ピタゴラスイッチ reveals lots of different clips. My favorite is this "algorithm march."

Does anyone remember that little flash game that was passed around a while back, where you can beat it inside of ten seconds but then the credits roll for like 30 seconds? This run reminded me of that

I just want to make clear that I didn't raise this issue to attack anyone, I just didn't understand why this one movie seems to be downloading so much slower than the other TASVideos. Since I see that I am not alone in this predicament, at least I know it's not something I can simply correct by trying to change my firewall settings. Therefore I am relieved.

I know this is a little off-topic, but does anyone know why this newly published movie has no seeders?

I'm not sure which is more amazing, the glitch that allows you to get to the boss in a matter of seconds or the brevity of the final battle. Thank you!

I think it's more of a cool blue void, actually.

BUMP to hype new Castlevania game - mad fun and the two-character gameplay is very interesting. Music is pretty solid so far and the map seems really big because of all these sub-worlds to explore.

Any particular reason the video keeps going for a few minutes after the GAME OVER screen? I kept playing it and watching for something to happen...

Intriguing! I always assumed I was the oldest user on this board. Care to prove or disprove me?

I would agree that the Mega Man run probably does not warrant that tag, as the only "significant" goals are defeating the six Robot Masters and then Wily. If the run somehow skipped an entire stage or the Magnet Beam, then I would apply it since those are supposed requisites for completing the game. Skipping the second round of Robot Masters doesn't count in my mind (not that it wasn't impressive).

I love that show...it often airs in bite-size format, featuring a short machine and maybe some dancing. Also a big fan of the "dad control," where a child makes a "remote control" for their father and makes them do things.

OHHH SNAP! I feel a little more pity for the microphone guy, since that was obviously an accident. Escalator man went for...something and it didn't work. Both entertain me though!

Do they have those fire-alarm-alarms? The ones that go off if you open them to actually set off the fire alarm?

Doukutsu Monogatari (Cave Story) has the absolute perfect amount of save points, for example.
Mmmm, frankly, I think one save point in Hell would have been really nice. I'm tired of getting killed by Ballos and having to start the entire stage all over again. It crosses the line from "challenging" to "not fun." Otherwise, I was very pleased with the ratio of save points to deadly challenges.

I think I play games to win because, in most cases, completing tasks in a game produces the most satisfaction. Without a goal, I find that games offer me very little in the way of fun. I can't tell if that's me or the game though. Case in point, the game I've been playing most recently is Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. It's a fun game, but I blazed through it and now I've "accomplished" everything there is to accomplish, save for collecting 100 of every monster. But without an in-game reward for doing so, I feel very little motivation to do that.
