I used the correct links, it's either a site bug, or Archive.org's. Downloadables all work, but 512kb torrents don't...

I think it's impossible to record offscreen stuff, maybe a VideoForWindows thing. For me the end picture is what I set, but the image gets cut beyond my screen resolution.

Someone complained that the official upload isn't 60fps, so I decided to completely stuff up my own encode in such a way that it still somehow caps at 1080p. 'course, since the 60fps mode feature seems to cap at 1080p anyway, I've done my job.
60 fps on YouTube does nothing we might be interested in. It still can't deblink, so virtually it's the same 30 fps footage, just tweaked somehow.

I wonder if it's the first emulator using Qt. And also if it can be built to run on microwaves all kinds of devices, which the recent Qt is known for.

As in, we should unlist all the N/A's unless it's something actually used. Right? The only 2 that are used are the AGDQ 2014 videos. Since the vids are still up, I believe we can safely unlist all N/A's in a row. Oh, I see a way to check the encodes we're sure should be deleted. Nice. EDIT: The vids that aren't used in publications are in fact unlisted (with a few manual exceptions), despite the TVCControl note. Check yourself.

Good call. I also did a judgment on such a run, and it was rejected for not leading the game into its usual completion routines (at all). Then I accepted this one because the game really tried to fully end, but was too glitched. So the main question is, does this run make the game run basic ending routines?

I have a deja vu :) As back then, I'd say the game doesn't need to have all the usual stuff present, especially if it's collected by actually playing the game, and then it simply shows the stats. However, if something that's usually being done during ending isn't being done, then we should dig into it.

No other warps possible? EDIT: I only wonder why you didn't use the good dump - "Quattro Adventure (Camerica) (Aladdin) [!].nes". "[!p]" (your case) means Pending Dump, when a better one is awaited.

Reset is added by inserting "1" in a proper line of the movie file, where usually "0" goes, between 2 pipes. Watched it. Amazing job! I bet it will be hell to plan the damage though.

Looks like you may need to hack the game the same way notaz did: make the game display some important number you need to verify sync, then just compare how it looks in emulator and TV, and adjust stuff accordingly. Must be something unheavy, to not add more skew.

Well in that case it should be an obsolete movie, no? And AFAIK changing a movie's tier is far less controversial than retroactively obsoleting it.
I mean, if it was known to be the fastest when it was accepted, it can perfectly reside in Vault, even while being potentially obsolete (and as soon as there's a run with the save glitch - actually obsolete too).

Knuckles in Sonic 1 and Tails in Sonic 1 are more acceptable than this hack, TBH.
Tails submission thread doesn't fully agree. There was a lot of discussion about it back then, it was even rejected, but when given a second chance, it got support and was accepted (not to obsolete Knuckles). And it's before Moons! The more this one is acceptable.

I only wonder about whether Aglar should be credited as a co-author, even though the overall percent of his input is small. Not exactly sure though, as speed-oriented input can be optimal in itself and not belong to anyone exclusively. Opinions?
