Sorry, but I can't believe in an optimized HOUR of a TAS movie only with 5 thousand rerecords. Vote MEH.

Guys, what was the most tricky place in the movie? The suggested screenshot is kinda ordinary, maybe we can find anything more attracting?

X2poet, why don't you give them all a chance to merely compare the entertaiment value for 2 different parts of this run - with Continues & without them?

Using all default settings (except unchecking use M68000 assembly core) gave me desync 9 times of 10. Once it synced accidentally & i can't repeat that success. I was changing some options... Edit: Weird! When I unpack the emulator archive - the default picture is filtered. But the movie syncs. If I try to switch the filter off - it desyncs & never syncs when I turn everything back. So I need to unpack it again. Does anyone wish to see the filtered HD encode of this? Or teach me to sync it without that filterings.

As for me, I've been dreaming of 2-Player run (made by someone) of CHC.

Was it mentioned anywhere on TASVideos that the sampled vocals on the Title Screen sing "Kyrie eleison" which means "Lord, have mercy"?

Updating an x264 gave me a grey video for youtube problem. I've downloaded the build posted there & it works, but wothout --keyint infinite. Though, using finite (300) keyint gives me just a few more MBs, than infinite did..

I can suggest to make a simple comparison like mine. http://pastebin.com/YTNyF7bj If it's a NES run - you capture AVI with frame/lag-counter & input display

I will encode this as HD. Also, is this "best ending" category?

I liked this formula very much. We all know that X2poet is not the one who goes easy ways while PLANNING his runs.

Coin is the natural resources in it.
That is my post about. Using coins is NORMAL for Arcade, but TAS must be ABOVE normal ("with some exceptions").

I see using only INTITAL COINS NEEDED TO START THE GAME as a sort of hard difficulty for Arcade, because in real life it is more probable that the player have some additional money, but nut using it he seems to handle more skilly, which is harder. So, using coins is a NORMAL gameplay for Arcade. But while Superplay is summoned to be ABOVE normal, the continue using shall be a result of discussion in unobvious cases (though I don't know what one would be obvious here). Also, if continues look namely more WTF than avoiding them (requires skill for making unique entertainment), if they are funny played up, they must be allowed. Then, the comunity needs to see WIPs before submitting. If we see a no-death Metal Slug by X2poet, we could compare easily. The things obvious for one may become obvious for all. And if "all" prefer no-death actually, then the decision was found!
