I've heard this doesn't always happen, and it depends on something you do near the end of the game, like which Bowser you beat. I'm not sure.
You would be correct, I've beaten the NES version (on a actual NES) many times and never got a full panel of P-Wings. When I first saw it mentioned on a website, I thought whoever posted it was an idiot since it never happened :O. perhapse your meant to fly up-left over the top from the left bowser and trigger that funny sound effect? I never discovered that until we had A SNES instead of a NES.

A small typo in the submission title, should be FDS Rockman 3 (JPN) correct?

Hello, Can a Index of all the games with a dedicated Tricks page be made? can a link to this Index be made in the left navigation frame on the main website? Regards, Franpa.

Although it scrolls on the bottom in SR, it takes you into your equipment instantly unlike MG where it takes a while to do so. I believe SR was made for people who dont like the challenges in MG and never was meant to take part in the MG universe. The improved graphics was probably from technology they already had at the time, but did not have when making MG and the rest (interface, movment, etc.) was natural with user feed back from end users.

I'd like to watch one, but I never played the game myself. I heard it's actually really bad compared to the first game, but that shouldn't matter. It will make an interesting movie. :)
It's quite the opposite actually, it is a pretty good game with improved graphics, music, loading, animations and stuff... only thing i can see wrong with it (aside from it not being true to the metal gear name or whatever?) is that it is noticably easier then the first game. My older bro a few years ago got really far in Metal Gear but it just got rediculous at some points and kinda gave up on it ;P I was way too young to really er, give it a go back then. we (together) managed to beat Snakes Revenge though :P granted I did some of the easier sections.

I find it sad that all the bosses are spared. Especially, Mother Brain
You do know the planet kinda explodes and kills everything on it right? EDIT:
Well, except for the part where samus blows up the whole planet. Why she usually bothers with the bosses before laying that cute little armageddon device is beyond me.
Oops.

Good name:Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (U) [!].smc
The "good" name is what NSRT renames the file to if it is a good dump. I think i'll download this now since it is during off peak where downloads are counted 50%

Is it easy to alter the movie file so it can play in snes9x 1.51? snes9x 1.4x has bad screen tearing (even at 60hz) and vsync seems to be non existent. the only issue i have with 1.51 is that custom refresh rates don't work, but that is due to the version of direct draw that is used. I don't really want to download a 100mb movie.

Well, the any% will be picking up so precious few items anyway with BA. If you could beat all of OoT with just the sword, shield, deku sticks, and slingshot (for example), and like nothing else, that'd be impressive. If you collect like 3 less items than the any% BA, then you've accomplished nothing. Any of those low% lists that's been mentioned in this thread closely mirrors the any% BA.
Any% run = beating the game as fast as possible and using the optimal amount of itmes to achieve the fastest completion. Low% run = Only aquiring what is needed to win, not what is needed to reach the end as fast as possible.

The glitch is pretty awesome :) It is a good way to fuck the game up and never get your sword due to a lack of a shield! and it seems you can't start stealing from the store till you get your sword :( so you can't get your shield back.

Okay, it turns out that this run doesn't desynch with the Super Mario All-Stars + World ROM even though the CRCs are very different, but with the other two I tried (both All-Stars without World) it didn't get past the Lost Levels startup menu.
Read the 2nd sentence in the About the run portion of the description to see why that happens ;)

UM, the avi file does not contain most scenes NVA took pictures of o_O and there was a shit load of stuff skipped. Is it linking to a "glitched" or "warped" version of the run by mistake? the avi goes for the same time and is done by the same person, but he never "meets" bowser or princess and never goes on booster pass or on nimbus or the nimbus bus..... edit: okay, the video player i was using DIDNT buffer the video properly thus bits where skipped :P time to watch AGAIN ';..;'

The big problem here is that the Save Ram glitch is not emulated properly by gameboy emulators :P isn't gambatte more "accurate" over VBA rerecording?
