Unless you reseted in some levels (the ones that aren't exit-able) I think something like this could be put into the Concept Demos to show "lost levels" of this game. I still have the IPS patch on my SMB3 ROM somewhere, and I'll have to find it again.

1. Kirby and the Amazing Mirror - I absolutely LOVE this game. It basically takes every other side-stroller level-by-level game and kicks them in the ass. It's very unique in the way how you can go to any area you wish in any order (pretty much) and I've been playing it for a while now, but I love it. 2. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - I've been at this since the VERY FIRST MOMENT this came out. So far over 40 Lv. 100's! Rock on! 3. Any other Kirby game - What can I say? Kirby's awesome! The best game that is in this category is probably Squeak Squad. (>'-')> <('-'<)!

- You stopped at frame 500 for no reason. - Maybe you did a bad job at lag reduction and optimization.
The difference between a certain frame in both runs (the first flash from Warp Star in the forest) was 46. I think now that time could be saved from a speed glitch done by air-puffing (that's what I call it :P) where Kirby goes faster BACKWARDS. Also, I was refering to NiDL and KatAM in particular, not all GBA games. EDIT: Never mind, that method is slower. So far I've managed to shave 12 frames of my own time, but so far 34 down JXQ's. EDIT EDIT: 6 frames and we'll have an improvement. So far I've shaved off by pressing start on the title screen and the "Green Greens" screen. I think the 6 frames came from sucking totally un-nessisary enimies. EDIT EDIT EDIT: Nah, JXQ's run seems to be un-improvable, said by my expirements. Unless JXQ personally knows improvements.

I was just wondering if, like in the GBA games, avoiding the floor is a faster way of transportation. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1894377209/girfanatic501-kirbydreamlandimprov1.vbm EDIT: New link, the old one had only 23 frames of input. This one seems to be only 46 frames behind and I'm looking into why.

Pokemon Stadium doesn't work on Mupen. However, once it does, I think a full-on TAS of the minigames would be good.
Me don't think so. I got it to work a while ago but can't remeber how I did it :P. I also agree with LagDotCom. It would be FANTASTIC to see Mystery Dungeon Red done by maniputaling the rooms. I think depending on what frame you enter is a different room. My Game & Watch submission that I canceled: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6746

The project seems to not been picked up for about a year and a half, and people on IRC think that it should be picked up again. I'll post up something in a while. EDIT: Nevermind. The game seems to desych for me alot and crash between levels.

This was very amusing. I liked it! Your getting a yes vote from me. Someone should put this in the Concept Demos section for showing a game like this can be beaten (semi-beaten) without unput.

The only complaint I have is at one point you walk on the ocean floor in Olive Ocean. I think you could svae 15-30 frames by pressing up onee frame. Also, could someone PLEASE help me with the figuring out of the enemy HP thing. Nothing works.

I liked it. I really liked it. Too bad you have to redo it. But, if it is for a better time, it's worth it. Trust me. The miniboss/boss made me laugh :P. They die before the music even gets to start, basically.

Are there any of those gray bricks that only stone/hammer/missile/fireball nearby that stone could be used on?
Yes, I fact, there is. Somewhere in Peppermint Palace, I think, you can roll down a hill as Stone and smash a bunch a Grey Blocks for a tresure. There's other places, I'm sure of. I'm making a short Word document with a route I'm planning out myself. It kinda goes in order of area number (with the exception of Rainbow Route) and it's going to have HP and RAM addresses from enimies. I'm having trouble with that, though -_-'. EDIT: Honestly, someone needs to help me with finding enemy HP because cheat search is NOT working what-so-ever anytime soon.

I'm playing through using Sit VG's route at 50% with savestates to see about how long the run will take. Take about 40 minuets off the time I get for that, though :P. So far I'm about through Candy Constallation.

Actully, I just finished an add-on to yours. In it, I get Wheel from a Fallie and Boxin in the upper-left corner of the block room, and then get Hammer from two Minis to clear out the rest of Moonlight Mansion via the grey blocks in the first room, then I got stuck :P. Here it is. I'm just making suggestions for what you should do. (along with other things, like Sir VG) I'll get to watching your video. EDIT: Yay! 100th post for KatAM thread. EDIT EDIT: Once again, MUGG. You are the Kirby King. That was a terrific run! But now I fell like I should just stop running this game, your so good. Oh, well. I'll leave all the stuff up to you. I'll be Sir VG's assistant! And I'll still be "running" it.

Sir VG, you recive an award in finding out when someone picke up recording! EDIT: Wait, you mean while returning to the hub after Master Hand, right? That's where I picked up. And if you do, that's there naturally anyway :P.

1. I started re.... nevermind. 2. So that's where it is! 3. I was wondering how to stop them. 4. Relating to question 1, I presume. 5. That I can do easily. Unless MUGG is annoyed by me and/or wants to do it himself I'll work on it.

You made a movie, I can help, I add on to movie WITH help It's a win-win situation, ain't it? I guess you could avoid getting Laser, but it is helpful (and saves 2 frames) in the long run. Edit: I/You may have to go back and instead get Missile from the two Minis if Moonlight Mansion is the next destination through the Purple-Left Door.

You have to start inhaling and they'll do the same. That part is definatly going to be one of the hardest parts. So far yours seems to look good. I wonder if I should even continue with this seeing as you'll probably improve every movie I make :P.

Yeah, That room does look...... just bad now that I watch it. I'm going to compare Sir VG's route and gravy229's route and compare how many rooms you'll have to go through. Edit: Sir VG, your route takes 404 rooms.

I just found out Wheel is very very crappy on all bosses :P. I'll edit Stone into that run soon. Expect it in maybe 3 hours. EDIT: forgot to put up the video file. :P Stupid me. Here it is, for real.

And here is up to King Golem following GameFAQs' walkthrough. Note for King Golem I use Fighter because Whell does HORRID damage to King Golem. It would take a minute longer with Wheel. And the next room I go in has a Whellie anyway :P.

Hum... there's a walkthrough on GameFAQs that kinda goes all around and follows what you said. I think it's by gravy229. EDIT: Nevermind, it goes in order of area. EDIT EDIT: Nevermind AGAIN. It dosen't just go area by area.

It's unfortunate that you can't use multiplayer to your advantage. A TAS with 4 player split screen, each one heading to a different boss would be an amazing sight.
That would shorten a run by AT LEAST around 14 minuets. Maybe a little less, but oh well. It would be a time-saver. Well, maybe. Isn't there an option under Multiplier that allows you to paly the normal game in 4-player mode? If so, how would you TAS every Game Boy at once. And how would a TAS of 4 work? I don't think so.

Yeah, it does seem it woud take a while to plan out routes for every stage that is as short as possible, but pdk has probably done this for most stages by now anyway :P.

UPDATE! Part 1 is complete! A run that is 907 frames faster than a previous run that was up for, like, 10 minuets before being taken down for a VERY improtant mistake. Right now I'm thinking this will either turn into a multi-man project (like Battletoads or SMB3 runs) or a competition (like Lolo 2)
