Yep, you were right. Checked the header in a hex editor and indeed, it was missing the proper header. Found a tool called FDS Spray that fixed this among other things (adding a header if missing and so on). So if anyone else should encounter the same problem, this is the simple solution. And thank you for the help Quietust!

See topic. I've played around with the INI file and I have the BIOS rom, but still it just won't load any FDS games. Instead I get the error message in the topic. They are verified FDS games and they run properly in FCE-U. Any thoughts?

Hi there, I'm new to this board. So for starters, hi to everyone! And the question: Is there any way of copying/ripping the color palette from Famtasia to use with other emulators such as FCE-U? Compared to FCE-U's palette, the Famtasia one is much more warm and colorful. I've googled to death and managed to get over some custom made palettes for FCE-U to make it look better but they all look bad on my monitor. Don't know why, particularily one of them was very popular, and it was dark as the night on my computer. As I understand, you guys here are quite skilled (yeah I've followed the Famtasia patching thread :)), so I thought I should at least ask. I really don't like the FCE-U palette, and the NTSC emulation is a compromise.
