Minor bug: SG-1000 movies are created with the Core listed as SMS instead of SG. In 1.7.2, this prevented SG-1000 movies from being recorded, though 1.7.3 fixed this side-effect. The core is listed correctly in BizHawk 1.7.1. Changing it to SG and attempting to load the movie will result in an "unhandled exception" error because "movie does not match the currently loaded system".
I can confirm that 1.8.1 does play a SG-1000 movie despite being marked as SMS. I think the SG-1000 is a modded SMS?

By the way, how does vba-next compare to VBA in terms of accuracy? The few sites I could find with information on vba-next said it's based on an older VBA-M but with added speed hacks. Were these hacks removed before it was ported into BizHawk?
GBAHawk (VBA-Next) is more or less the same functionality as newer VisualBoy Advance releases. "Trouble" games such as the NES Classics works properly.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't try that before... There was actually an update available for my graphics driver and after updating EmuHawk run! Sorry I should have thought of that myself. We can likely close this topic since it probably only applies to my situation. thanks again!
It applies to a few users we get. I am glad your problem is fixed.

What video card are you using? Do you get any error messages? Did you install over the old version?

It's probably due to the fact that the Atari 2600 core has not been thoroughly tested. These reports do help us find errors and gives us notice on things that need fixing.

If Skip GBA BIOS is set to true, and a movie is recorded, the setting is forced to true during recording and playback. If Skip GBA BIOS is set to false, and a movie is recorded, the setting is forced to false during playback and recording.

Now this is a bug if you don't have a gba bios. Open up a game from a console other than the GBA. Then Open up a GBA game. Hit No. You will now have the previous console still being mentioned at the top. When I did this with GBC to GBA entered the Gameboy settings I get this error: Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Hitting Continue will ignor- yadda, yadda you've seen the start to this thousands of times. Unable to cast object of type 'BizHawk.Emulation.Common.NullEmulator' to type 'BizHawk.Emulation.Cores.Nintendo.Gameboy.Gameboy' Minor Bug, only if you're an idiot who forgot to place a gba bios.
Edit: To get the error, Open GB/GBC ROM. Open GBA ROM without GBA BIOS/Firmware present. Select No. Null Emulator is active. Go to the GB Menu and select anything. Error appears.

What graphics card do you have? I think that causes problems if it's old.

It's being worked on. GBA will not support e-Reader, yet. Multi GBA is not done, yet. Those features may not get added.

Do you mean that in Pokémon Crystal, Silver, Gold don't advance normally. Like if I play Monday, save, and then start playing Tuesday, the game won't be on Tuesday?
Exactly. Is it because the watch battery inside the cartridge is not emulated?
Not entirely. That battery is actually your Save battery. Without it, the game's save data will be lost.

Are there RTC option for Pokemon games on GBC/GBA in the fation of VBA? I know Bizhawk has RTC option, but the in-game time doesn't match the real time anymore after I run the game again after saving for the first time.

Now that Dolphin works with Replays, it's finally time to get a Verification going. I am using Dolphin 4.0-2745. I have a custom compiled version that restores the Sonic Unleashed hack. I did this so I can see cutscenes. It appears to have no effect on sync.

I know the Pokémon games would be a popular option to support. Fire Red/Leaf Green has this WiFi adaptor that lets you play with up to Thirty-Nine (39) other players in a "Union Room" but normally it's five (5) players max with a normal link cable. I don't know of that many link cable compatible games that would benefit at all from link play in a TAS. Some games support link play and it would be nice for casual users/players.
And?

I have a VB.Net DataGridView that I am creating and filling during load time. My problem is that I want a drop down list for one of my columns. How would I go about this? How I am Creating the grid: Download vb.net
Language: net

dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col1", "Weapon Name") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col2", "Hand") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col3", "Type") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col4", "Size") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col5", "Damage Type") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col6", "Size") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col7", "Critical") dgvWeapons.Columns.Add("col8", "Reach")
How I add to the DataGridView: Download vb.net
Language: net

dgvWeapons.Rows.Add(WeaponsName, WeaponsHand, WeaponsDamageType, WeaponsSize, WeaponsCritical, WeaponsReach, WeaponsDamage, WeaponsSpecial)
I want "Type" to become a ComboBox Cell type. It will have two options, "Melee" and "Ranged"

I don't think removing files from a DOS game is allowed by the rules. But it should be emulated better then the PSX version

Don't real time speedruns for Majora's mask use resets? I fail to understand if a human can do it, why restrict a TAS or a device that can pass input to a device? Arbitration? And isn't there an X-Men game that wants/needs a soft reset?

TASVideos is NOT here to help you run most Emulators, with the exception of BizHawk and Specalized Re-Recording emulators. Dolphin's forums are a MUCH better place to check for solutions. If you can't find the answer, ask there.
