Skarpaker, why are you using the Flash version and not the Steam version? Could Hourglass handle the Steam version?

There is a TAS of Choro Q (a racing game) that does not use the accelerator. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm18273721 That is a "non-speedrun" but is instead, a "superplay"

Usually a TAS or Tool Assisted Playaround does things that are impossible in realtime (or at least very hard). Earthbound, for example, gets the Gutsy Bat (1 in 128 chance). The Mortal Kombat playarounds glitches the game is weird ways. The Scripted runs for Half-Life 2 on SDA were "tool assisted" and those demonstrated how the engine can be abused. The Fallout 3 run on SDA also demonstrated how the Havok Physics engine has this major issue with grabbing stuff. Find the impossible and accomplish it.

It's not bad. I checked this against the US version and this seems to be done better. But, I can be wrong (and probably am).

The WAD File (Game) is: World Of Goo USA WiiWare Wii-WVCDUMPS That is the valid (MD5 matching) file. SHA1 for validation of the WAD file: (since MD5 has collision problems) 9c6c82ba246c67a0f03edf5427c52ceffd89d0d8 Does anyone know what build of Dolphin (not the TAS build) I should be downloading? I tried v3.0-397 x64 and v3.0-735 x64. Both sets (using Desync-fixes 3.0-382-dirty) give me the message "Fatal desync. Aborting playback. (Error in PlayWiimote: 4 != 23, byte 305.) When I try and play the movie file.

After much downloading, I found the proper WAD. Is telling people what version to download allowed by the rules or not?

Ok, this is weird. I have 3 separate versions (two PAL and an NTSC) and none of the MD5s match the Submission's MD5. Even stranger, is the two PAL WADs MD5s do not match each other.

Considering the market has been on this generation for seven (7) years, people want the new thing (probably). Nintendo seems to have a plan. Make a tablet that can play our games as well as a console. That way we can cater to the iPad crowd and maby try and take from Apple. The last "large" delay between generations was back in 1983 to 1988. That's 5 years between generations. The release of the Nintendo Family Computer (NES) to the release of the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis).

I like 100% over any% for this game myself. It's fun to watch how crazy the player gets to get all the goals at once.

Is it just me, or is this run slower (in the levels both runs complete) then the published run? Edit: Changed the wording. I am a native English speaker and even I make mistakes. It happens.

pirate_sephiroth, To me, Chrono Trigger is a great RPG. But there's SO many Fantasy style RPG games out there. Not so many modern/Sci-Fi ones. I don't really enjoy Fantasy as much as Sci-Fi so I love Earthbound more.
