Wow, what was the destruction per second ratio there? This one had so much action that it was hard to see what was going on. That's a good thing btw.

Actually, some consoles allows games to be installed, so no need to seek from the game disk. And then there are special solutions like that kiosk load system for the Wii.

I was actually about to state that I myself consider emulator authors crazy.

So who would want this "feature" other than tasers? Nobody. We are in a minority position here and to say the least we don't agree on wanting this "feature" either. What kind of sane developer would invest their time into such a "feature"?

Good link, but their results are in dire need of improvements, it tends to oversmooth things and make freestanding areas (such as Yoshi's scales) look like they are flooating way of the character.

How indeed? Perhaps the author explaining why it should be allowed in the submission comments?

Requesting speedy deletion, again, for failing to complete the game, again.

I am requesting speedy rejection on the grounds of failing to complete the game.

It's not a port, this is a separate game. Also, there is a sequel.

Just remember that there is no need to screencap it, I used AIR so that I could automate a perfect dump of the animation. Just click the status field to start a dump.

I decided to make an animation designed to be a major challenge to encode. Get the animation here. It's an AIR application so it should run on the main three operating systems. Here is a list of the features:
 • Three spinning and resizing checkerboard grids that each has one RGB channel.
 • Bouncing, color changing, size changing, balls that are Screened on top of the grids
 • 100 falling rectangles that subtracts a random color.
 • Bouncing inverto-bars.
Feel free to post your results trying to encode this mess.

Can I please have a version that actually plays all the stages? It would be a nice complement to this one.

What matters is not if the main characters win, but all the other stuff that happens.

Agreed, these three stage runs are so short.

The youtube encode has like 10-20 minutes of froozen screen just before the credits.

I think that a drawing would be better than the photos.

I think we should have an encode with four separate video streams so that people can layout things as they please.

I think the encode has some audio desync towards the final stages. There was a big pause of silence before it happened. Is this an editing accident?

Since I wrote the wording of the rule you are citing, let me clarify it. It is a rewording that only means that you shouldn't leave any unused frames of input after the end of the movie. It does not say anything about when the movie should end. There is no rule against doing the credits, and I personally think that they should be done as well.

I was hoping that this was a 100 % run. But I will still watch the upcoming encode.

I am sorry, but the preexisting save file needs a verification movie, even when it is patently clear that you was not involved in it's creation.

Looking good. But it is a pity that the encode is musicless. CD audio seems to be a troublesome thing to emulate.
