Is there a tool to filter out interpolated frames where two real frames have just been blended together? I'd prefer something that is not framerate dependent but that estimates the likelihood of a specific frame being blended.

Cancellation is not covered by the three day rule. It's covered by copyright laws, the right for an author to not have his work published when he doesn't want to.

Encode requested, because this will be interesting. Interesting in how bad it will be, but interesting none the less. Also, recommending rejection due to unexplained rom choice deviation. If anything using the mix package should be slower due to the additional menu screen.

They explained that it is supposed to be for "you". My main concern is that the controller is not rendering the picture itself. This puts limits on the number of supported controllers. In fact, I think that Nintendo have discreetly stated that the limit is just one controller.

That and the fact that there has been done a lot more research about how to do it properly. If anything else, they have history to look back at in order to avoid the same mistakes.

I am hesitant to use glue with magnets, but for a different reason. Glued stuff tends to come lose. How about a design where the magnet discs have notches and are slotted into the cube construction? This way you could guarantee that the magnets does not just fall off, the cube construction itself would have to break. This also has the side effect of optionally allowing FODA's idea.

It is a lot harder than it is supposed to be. You see, swf files are interactive and at the very least scriptable. You need to run the file in the flash player and record that. If you made the swf file yourself it is rather easy, just temporarily publish it as an AIR application and draw each frame to a BitmapData, encode that as a sequence of png files and import in your favorite video encoder. You can't get the audio this way, but at least it wont skip a single frame. If you didn't make the swf file you could try one of those automated swf to video applications, but I don't trust them since they never make good of their promise not to skip frames. On the plus side, they usually support recording the audio.
