So this is a non game specific competition, but you have to use metroid? I don't follow.

I did not like it. It failed to impress me and it did not look particularly tool assisted.

A movie that begins from clear save data and creates the state that the submission continues from. There are less restrictions on it, use built in cheats and passwords and take as much time you need. Use whatever is easiest for you to create it. It's judged on a scale of "ok" or "invalid".

Even for a playaround, doesn't we require a verification movie for the save?

This simply can't be unintentional.

I would prefer a pure encode here.

I am getting tired of megaman 2 hack runs. Run a megaman game that we doesn't have already, like those dos ones.

The head first series Pretty much the only good series of books about learning programming that has a plot. The plots are not just "stupid boy gets computer", but actual hilarious scenarios. Not only is it highly educational, it is a fun read too. The illustrations are highly relevant, yet they manage to make you laugh at the same time. When they can make a blowup toy a teaching aid, you know that they are the fun kind of teacher. They feature things as interviews with abstract concepts and more. "Tricks of ..." by Andre La Mothe not humorous at all, but still a pair of great books. You will be able to write and understand your own advanced 3d engine by the end of the books.

This has to be the most corrupted run I have seen this week, and there was some serious competition this week. Oh and I don't think this would win if it competed in the "fastest in game time" category ;)

Movie shorter than credits? check. Movie too short for the TAS notice? Maybe next time. Anyway, clear yes vote.

Is this yet another game where you go into a dungeon, beat some monsters and walk a lot? I got bored the last two runs. It simply isn't that exciting to watch.

A good run indeed, it's a yes vote here.

So, it at least completes one course, right?

Boring. It's just walking 60 % of the time and 40 % running in dungeons the rest of the time. While that is the more interesting part, it is still quite boring.

It doesn't have a big enough impact on the gameplay, it's a meh.

I see no reason not to publish this noticeable improvement of this excellent game.

I also disagree with the "warps" category. It's just moving fast over the stage, not actually skipping anything but the enemies. But the run looks nice.

Do we get an encode for this one, or should I just vote no directly?

I found a genuinely difficult platformer called green moon lab. It's not using cheap trial and error deaths, but genuinely difficult platforming.

I recall reading something about the game "deal or no deal" not even bothering shuffling the cases on the first play. But I doubt that this is the same game. But it sure looks completely boring. The game fails both as a normal game and a tased game, it simply is way too shallow.

I said that I would vote No again, and so I did.
