I'd be more interested in a proper TASing mode. Frame by frame, included debugging symbols, built in save states, built in object examinations and all that stuff.

The basic idea is to uncouple the input from the controller. Ever seen the sticky keys feature in windows? It's like that.

They simply got the money before they could think up the mystery stretch goals. It's simply the honest thing to pull them out from the rewards ladder.

I guess I've never heard that expression. As for the cost for consoles, it seems possible, given that they are already half the way to the base goal.

The people from the original Megaman series are making a new game. Kickstater here. The main character is not-megaman Beck. He has a not-roll partner named Call. I don't get the pun here. Overall it looks like a complete Megaman clone. And no one minds, because it is looking awesome.

I think that settles it. Reject and possible ban.

Should encodes include chapter marks? If so, then what would the criteria be for a "chapter"?

I request that the branch is changed to "Orc Campaign".

Uhm, did you miss the sum in this very topic? It is blatantly unoptimized. Also, the rerecord count is so low that I question if some levels has any at all!

Because it's not complicated enough just to control four players separately. No, five emulator instances need to be linked up to cause the ultimate mess. This is going to be a mess both to TAS and encode, given that there are so many parts involved. I even question if the game can be emulated in realtime on modern hardware.

A2 is enforced by the guessing contest.

I have a probability problem. Gamefaqs.com has an annual character battle. It is a series of three way polls. There is a series of polls in the form of a perfectly balanced tree. The depth of the tree is five, the leaf nodes is at level five. Users get to guess how every poll will turn out and there is a scoreboard. Users need to correctly guess at least the winner for the previous level in order to be able to correctly guess the next level. That is, the guessed winners of the previous levels become the possible guesses for the next level. Guess all previous levels wrong and you will be unable to guess correctly. Now I wonder what the chance is for blindly guessing A all of the battles and B just the final winner.

But on the flip side, it does provide plenty of lions.

Desync on 5-5 :( I hate firmware settings desyncs. They are so stupid.

Idea: release the blue trackbot and manipulate it into tripping the red switch for you.

Note the blue ground switch in the level, it might be possible to skip toggling the barrier yourself if you can get lucky with the trackbot.

This sounds like a cheat code to me, not an easter egg.

I think that particular quirk is to blame on the OS/2 team.

Can't you do something about that rumble pack notice? Like say, add the rumble pack?

Deblink means that you have applied an algorithm to remove the temporal artifacts that tend to happen when you reduce the framerate with an even factor while there is flickering/blinking at the same factor.
