That's two enemies called trackbot and spikes. Also, there seems to be at least three different versions of the game. I seem to have a copy of the rare early christmas demo.

Yoshi is a Yoshi. Yoshi's can be ridden, as well as spit eggs and fire.

The encode is 404. Also, why aren't you controlling Yoshi? You could save time by not letting the game drive him for you.

I admit that the port has some missing features, but the game itself is quite good.

Guys, stop being so slow with the publishing. Remember, the in game timer is not suitable for deciding how much video to capture.

I take it that you did luck manipulation to make all the digits appear right next to the head of the snake.

Most entertaining TAS of the month? Highly likely.

So you reset before the game tells you not to?

You got an explanation of the wrap glitch that covers the other cases on the game resources page?

Yeah, people with questionable English skills tend to write borderline gibberish. @Thevlackdemonn2294: Just post in whatever language you are more comfortable in, someone will drop by and translate it.

I had no chance trying to follow this in realtime. It's simply too fast and too broken.

It's not very 100 % to skip the entire opening level. But who cares about that level?

It is sometimes possible to port the run to an approved emulator. It should be possible, since as far as I've heard the game isn't very timing sensitive.

Please elaborate on how this differs due to the character choice.

So when you say "minimalist" you mean that it is a pacifist run?

I think the hard difficulty is to blame for some of the boring parts. But clearly not all of it.

Three autoscrollers, tedious bosses and little to no indication that the movie wasn't just a normal speedrun. Boring.

Swordless really should have known that this would ensure. Shame on him for submitting anyway. It is a technicality and nothing more. Just get the verification movie ready. I trust Swordless, but I still support the rules. The need for a verification movie here is both to prove to disbelievers that it is a real run and to show that everybody plays by the same rules, no matter their reputation. I don't like that it had to be someone with such a great reputation here. But it is exactly those that need to be able to show that they are playing fair.

This is a fun little platforming/run and gun game. The levels are decently varied, a fair number of different enemies, have mid bosses and each come with a great music track. The controls are a bit unusual for a platformer in that they require a pointing device (read: mouse), but they work fine and allow some nice gameplay. The game is cheap on Steam and comes with a demo. I think that it would be excellent TASing material.

Encode is borked at the 2:30 mark.
