Rerecords are included in TAS tools for a reason. Why don't you fix these errors if you know they exist?
I only have so little rerecords. Im doing a little test run to see if i can get faster than guano then im going to do a real one. Also this test run i feel is going to help me improve on my patience.
In mrgrunz run woodfall is done first, i may be wrong but im pretty sure that the bow is needed for pirates fortress to hit the bee hive so we wouldnt have the hookshot in woodfall anyway.

Yes, you used a savestate, and you started from that savestate hence you "started from savestate". Not only will something like this be rejected. NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR MOVIE unless you provide the savestate. You also cant' upload the savestate to microstorage.
Don't start recording, and then load a savestate that isn't from the movie. Mupen64 will desync. Open the rom, start recording the movie from start and not snapshot. Then only load savestates that are part of the movie. If you load a state from somewhere else, the movie will desync.

That explains why when i replayed one of my movies i missed 8 rupees.
So you started a new run, and it too starts with savestate? You do realize you shouldn't be doing that, right?

What i did with my desync is i played the movie untill i got a few frames before the desync and recorded from there.

Never mind i am able to use microstorage now but i cant upload my file because it says M64 movie begins from external savestate. Rejected.
Anyway since i have desyncs in it is there anyway i can play the movie back and record from the desyncs while it being on the same .M64 file?
I think your best bet is to scrap the run you have, start a new movie from "Start" (which is the default option for a reason, btw), learn from your mistake, and redo.
I bet you will optimize it more your previous run. Then you can just call it a happy accident.
I did redo it and i optimized it by 12 seconds but i got a desync.
Ill post it anyway so you guys could tell me how im doing.

Edit thats bad i spent 2 hours on My route for 2 and 1/2 minutes of gameplay.
Is there any way to create a save stat to go with my .m64 file?

Guys i need help. I just spent doing a Rupee Route TAS, but when i goto playback it says can not find snapshot what do i do?
Also if i upload my .M64 file would you be able to view it and if so where do i upload it to?
When I was in highschool, I got up at 5:15 regularly, so I could get to school at 06:00 for swimming/water polo practice (practice from 06:00-7:30 and then from 15:00 to 17:00). I also went to bed at around 21:00, though.
my friend get up for swimming. I get up early to do homework :)
It also helps for you to go to bed around 9 pm
School is already boring enough as it is.
Your getting better at TASing though, keep on practicing!
I thank you. What would have made it better would be no desync i the middle which is where i had to redo it. 2. The menu blows but i did it on my laptop and im on my comp now because i fixed my internet.
Also this is the same one as before but i shaved off 20 seconds of lag.

well I can't help but find Majoras Mask boring compared to OoT.
I am very much looking forward to the ongoing runs in OoT. There are so many improvements to be made. Especially to the current any% run which imo really sux. If swordless & co doesn't finish that run, then I guess that opens the door for somebody else.
I really agree with you only because teh glitches are easier in Majora than OoT.

the idea was to go to spirit temple as adult with lots of superslides, what is actually the thing, that seems to make it quicker

boths routes are very close, but in the end, it turned out to be best to do deku tree as adult, go to spirit temple as child and get bombchus, do DC and jabu then and get adult

Its 10 seconds slower, but that is because he includes the opening animation, which you skip. Listen its clear your not playing frame by frame, if you try doing this, it will make your runs look better. First of all you should go get the sling shot, and have the deku nut and and stick already equipped. You shouldn't stop to kill the skulta, and if you have 5 deku nuts, why do you stop to get another one? you could wipe off even more time. i know you saved 10 seconds, but this run isnt optimized. i saw a run where the slingshot was skipped, and it was about 10 seconds faster.

I didnt stop to get another deku nut. I think its because this freakin desynced and i had to redo it again. I think what your trying to tell me is to get some extra rupees from my rupee route and buy deku nuts so i dont have to waste time killing the baba and equiping them becaus the menu screen lags.

I see its because i had a savestat in the deku tree that didnt break the web so i did the run the way i would if i didnt have the deku nut.
also would you be able to red my .M64 files if i upload them?
Also Funnyhair if you mannaged to read the description on the video it took me 3 minutes and 14 seconds not 3 minutes and 38 seconds. Its just the lag that makes it seem long.
Also mupen takes up alot of space on my laptop. If i can get on my computer ill be able to upload a beast version.
Thanks you Captain for proving my point. It's a bias toward me because im new here. If someone of your statuer writes something non-related you do get a fucking lecture from 700 different people. ( more like 3 but w.e)
Also i have modified my TAS for the deku tree. It took Meh 3 minutes and 14 seconds. About 300 and somewhat rerecords.(But lag blows 8=D)
I had a desync and had to redo it from there which is good because i was able to shave off 15 seconds.
