If this gets published, i guess it will be time to do a speedwalk of every game that has the running ability.

Using Yoshi to get the key, passing through wall and choosing the route wisely made this look good though walkathons does not inspire me much. I say it deserves to be published but somewhere in a dark corner. I don't want to be a prick, this was extremely well played but at some parts i got bored. Mild yes, sorry dude...

Nice :) Much much better than taking damage until ¼ left. I hate to have to pause though but if it is the way, what can i say? Now for the reset... Is there other games with the same type of crap? Couldn't we just combine two runs in one?

Well... My only problem with this game is the water and scroller levels (Cyclops, Gambit and Storm lvls). If you find a way to skip those that would be some an amazing run. Until then, it is probably not TAS worthy but still... Its a cool game :) If you have some good tips pm me or just post it here, i'd be glad to hear you out :)

Oops :) Sorry Randil, i didnt mean it that way. I must admit that if i could find a way to save some frames on a game that i like, i would probably do the same.

Hours and even days of work to save two frames? That would be crazy.

I found many things that can be manipulated. The only problem is that it is all done randomly since i have no knowledge in luck manipulation so it costs a lot of rerecords. Also in the race, you can keep maximum speed by jumping. It seems to be a little like the SMW speed variants but its different in some way. When you turn while running you lose speed and also when you step in mud or grass like most racing games. If anyone is interested, Fred's speed value address for the race is 7E0CD0,1u. Edit1: I am redoing all of this. I found many things that could be improved. All in all, i think this game will be done around 6 to 10 minutes... Maybe :) Edit2: Done with first world. It took me 4 minutes so maybe it will be a little longer than i have thought. I think there is 5 worlds in all. Anyway, i changed everything from the start, i changed Barney's direction so that he goes straight to the exit when i obtain the map after the race and i manipulated the guy with the blue hat to not roll his dice. Also, i perfected the race a little but it is quite complicated to keep maximum speed while taking shortcuts in the mud and all but i think it's good. 1st world done :) Edit3: Damn! I have to redo the race for many reasons. At the end of the second lap, at the line, the third lap does not appear for some stupid reason. Anyway i wanted to redo it to try and keep the highest speed (64) all the way and also try to cut corners more smoothly. I wonder if the same kind of crap happened in Mario Kart... Maybe Comicaflop could be useful for this part of the game :)

I am currently working on this. I tried manipulating the dice to always fall on 3. I had to press a certain combination of buttons to make it fall on the number i wanted. Can someone help me with this type of manipulation because i am going nuts trying new button combination over and over. I never made it through the game. I searched everywhere for a walkthrough but could not find any so if anybody knows some good hints or tricks for this game please tell.

I don't believe in a simple miss-click. People that vote on this site are supposed to know where the YES & NO are placed. JXQ? Was it you? Who ever it was, you should at least say your opinion, even if you miss clicked. I wont kill you, just pull you brain out of your nose. :P

Well, there is one "No" vote for Hero's minimalist run and one "No" vote for JXQ's. I guess it would be the same person, someone that hates SM.

People who vote "NO" on runs like this are clearly people that knows nothing about speed runs, who are jealous, are joking or simply stupid.
