I double checked it and every hit has 48 frames between the apple in the face and the jump on the head. I think it's that i use the non-turbo cape on the third hit that creates the illusion that time is slower...

Should a 100% run really obsolete the any%? 45 seconds may not seem like much but for a 16 minute run it's actually quite a bit of gameplay.
So true.

For the first boss, i saved 3 frames by hitting him first with the apple and i dont remember the third hit not being optimal but ill check it out. As for the treasure room... I just used the cape to wait for Abu since he is the key to the end of the level.

I dont think it should obsolete the other run, since it is two different endings and different goals. If you look at any popular games like Megaman, Metroid or Mario... They all have multiple runs. SMW "small only" is one example and MM quad run is another. Should i make a capeless run??? I dont think so.

As a side note what exactly is your forum pic supposed to be, jaysmad? Robotic metroid?

What, exactly, is even different between the two endings? (I don't remember the original, non-super-player one.)
If you want a glimps at the non-super-player ending, watch the Jasmin/Aladdin/Carpet level. It's funny that when finished in 15 minutes, the game does not consider you as a super player.
