This run was just CRAZY GOOD :) I loved every frame of it! The style was very entertaining. Getting stuck in the door while waitings for the statues was priceless. Jumping over the gap to get Wave Beam and skipping Torizo were things i wanted to see for a while. Now, i know Hero just published his run and that it is faster so ill go take a look before voting. For now ill put a '' Fo shizzle ma nizzle'' on it :)

I liked the previous movie more, mainly because of the more awesome Bowser boss fights it offered than this one did.
I found the bowser battle much better with the way he flew around the flames and the mushroom juggling was also better but thats imo.

just some pointless torizo skip pffft :p
I dont think ¾ of a minute is pointless but saying that it is is. Nobody cares who found it. All that matters is the author of the currently published run and the one who obsoletes it.

IMPO (in my pointless opinion) I hate speedwalks, or walkathons, or stupid things. They suck, I just hate them!

The no star was probably the most anticipated run on the market but as for entertainment, JXQ's 100% SM run, with the inputs, was the best (imo). I'm watching it right now, while eating popcorn :D

JXQ wins this one 4show. With only his 100% SM run, he gets my vote. Sorry for the rest of you guys :( Parrot14green would have been second for breaking Rockman to bits & pieces.

I would have voted JXQ, for being the author of my favorite game of all time but Adelikat is a crazy robot so ... My vote goes to him.

Since the Crystals went away in FF5 the summons and occasional references to the Jobs are the only ties between the FF games.
What about CID, WEDGE, CHOCOBOS & every monster on the field, like CACTUARS... ? I seen them in almost every FF.

Wow Neo! You got it! This was pretty damn good! Loved the style. Reminded me of nes gradius by Adelikat. Following the music was well done and i am pretty sure there was some strange subliminal messages in there. Good improvement nice run YES vote :D But the submission text is not very informative. I dont really care since i never read the damn thing "JokinG"

If you decide to try the game again to make a run more entertaining, I suggest a 'playaround' video with the strangest things you can come up with, rather than going for pure speed. (TAS does not have to mean 'tool-assisted SPEEDRUN' - it can also mean 'tool-assisted SILLINESS', and in some games that's a better option.)
So true! This could work since the ingame is more based on speed. But i was wondering without derailing. Why is there a Meh vote? Shouldnt there only be a Yes & NO vote? What happens if the Meh wins? Its taken as a No? Anyway... What Frosty said.

What I'm getting at is that the final result does not look particularly impressive given the nature of the game - the ways to get through the game as quickly as possible are obvious and therefore there's nothing particularly unexpected about the run.
True but it is also often that nothing unexpected happens but still the run gets published? I think that if we publish this run then it will be easier to have something unexpected happening for the reason that if someone beats this run, he will have to do something pretty spectacular i think. Anyway, still voted yes on this one :)

FFIII(u): Childhood favorite. The one that made me like RPGs. I fell in love with every character and the story is just amazing! You'll have to be a oldschool lover since the graphics are pretty lame for 2008 but back in 94 it was awesome.^ FFIII For the DS: IMO, It sucked :p FFVII: First 3D FF on the market and it was crazy good . Story was thight, characters were awesome with unforgetable villain (Sephiroth) and the battle techniques (materias) where great. When you see Bahamuth Zero or knights of the round for the first time, you usually fall in love with the game. FFVIII: The 2nd try wasnt as much a hit as VII but the graphics in the videos were simply amazing. The characters were cool but not all of them imo (Squall/Hot. Selphie/Not). The aeons are OK if you ask me but if they would have put a little less on the videos GFX and more on the Aeons GFX, this would have been a winner. FFIX GFX made me feel like i want to feel when playing a RPG. Almost every thing of this game was perfect. Characters were cute and enjoyable battle techniques but in the end you feel like something is weird. I dont know if its because you have two summoners or if its because you need Vivi to use Steiner's magic ability but i felt unsatisfied. Still, this is one of the best FF out there. FFT Looks really cool in many ways. I played only a small part of the game but what i saw was nice. Cool GFX but the real deal is the way the battles are held. If you feel like tactical go with Final Fantsy Tactics :p FFX By far, the best game i ever played. Everything about it is good. Not just good, CRAZY good. I think its the first FF that gives the DMG limit breaker so you can hit over 9999. I give this one a 10/10 for Lulu's lolos :p FFCC: Sucked FFX-2 Seems pretty girlish but it's not bad at all! One thing that sucks about this one is that you play through FFX all over again and if you played as much at FFX as i did, you got enough. You only have 3 caracthers but they can switch costumes wich makes them look different and act different. The battles are really the highlights of the game. With items like the Cat Nip mixed with lvl 3 Trigger Happy you can really do some big damage. I played over 270 hours and still im at 99.9% of game completion so if you want some playability, this is the one. ----------------------------------------- Oh was this a TOP 3 vote? OK then #3. FFX-2 #2. FFX #1. FFIII (u) Note: All of the above is IMO. THX :)

Yes vote! Very well optimized back flips and all. The fight with death was awesome and so was those little time shavers like when you get hit to get to the next floor. Anyway nice run and SOTN is by far the best Castlevania ;p

Who cares if it was challenging or not. The guy did the game as fast as possible. Do we really have to break the game to have it published? I say there was enough effort on this run. Give the guy some creds!

The interesting part about a 100% red gem run imo is more hearts and more damage taken to save time.

Thread Bumper! Thread, Thread Bumper!!! :P OoK!!! After almost a year of abstinance, i'm back and ready to do some TAS :D !! Since i'm like, probably, most you guys, a freakin perfectionnist. I'm giving Al another chance ;P I wont be able to put as many hours, as i use too, since i'm buzy like a mother, but i still want to beat the thing. I wish i had the knowledge to figure out how i could get Aladdins ass from one side of the wall to the other (like mario or Rockman). Is there a way, to do that, in every game? This time, my goal will be a little different. Instead of avoiding almost everything, to save time, i will try to grab as much as possible. That does not mean taking long detours to grab useless crap. I'll take whatever is in my way and things that will help along the run, like hearts and maybe some turkeys. Any ways! The reasons i'm posting this is to ask if any of you guys are interessted in doing a coop... .. . I'm the author of the leading run so i know pretty much how the game goes. What i need is someone who knows his way around glitches or features as some would say :) I have a couple ideas on how to shave time in this try and would gladly share them with someone who cares :P

Guess what i got! :P God bless mom & dad :) Just Kidding. Actually, my, 12 years old, cousin received that PS3. He got that, a I-Pod Touch & many more things like 2 PS3 games, that he did not give a crap about because it wasnt Assassin's Creed, 200$ shoes (didnt care), etc, and i got socks! Oh was i happy!? :P What moral is there in this situation? My christmas was awesome! Got drunk, laughed my ass off, hooked up with the family and ate like a pig. My cousin was depressed all night because he did not have the thing he wanted. Life is weird and chistmas is funny :P
