Sometimes it looks like a bit backwalking, when you collect the Blue Magic to fill it up. First you run to the exit, then walk back to collect these. I saw it 2 times in the last Dungeon. But not sure if it is faster to wait or can't you get them earlier and you walk only for entertainment?
Hey Matty, this was to manipulate luck, basically if I waited there or walked in another direction some other gift would spawn like bread or horns and I needed the magic to complete the dungeon as quick as possible,
I'm of the opinion that not taking damage was perhaps not the best choice as several bosses would've benefited from you taking damage to destroy them faster, but I'm not the one running the game, so it's not really my problem. Would it perhaps have actually been faster to attack the first boss normally as opposed to waiting for it to slowly walk down to you, only to die in something like 6 hits?
I never tried moving toward the first boss to kill it but I think you may be right, I did discover on later bosses that I could walk toward them and strike them, then walk one or two blocks south and strike again and continue this pattern of striking them and moving south untill I was in the doorway. If I re-do the run in the future I think I could save a bit of time on the first few bosses.[/quote]

Yeah I agree atma, im currently redoing it and the run is going much better. I didnt quite grasp how much luck could be manipulated, the bosses this time are done much faster and no damage at all is taken should have the video finnished in a couple of days

Hey guys, I spent the past two days making a video for Golden Axe Warrior in Dega when I finnished the game and went to submit my video the website returned an error
No acceptable movie file found in the ZIP
Archive: /dev/shm/tmp/phpAIIDF0 inflating: /tmp/nesvzip_1226617794_171/Golden Axe Warrior (UE) [!].mmv MMV error: Movie begins from a snapshot
I have found out that a snapshot is a savestate file and according to the guys on IRC, I must have created a save state at the very beggining, Before the title screen and this is not allowed the videos must start from power on. So here are my questions 1 - Can my .MMV file be repaired? It would be a shame to waste all that time I spent and I dont fancy starting over 2 - In Dega, how do you start recording from power on? you are given four options only, Start Recording, Start Playback, Stop Recording/Playback and Properties. in Proberties all you can enter is the video authors name. EDIT: I have uploaded my .MMV file incase anyone needs to take a look I hope someone can help thx in advance jse
