WIKIPEDIA ACKNOWLEDGES US THAT:
The gameplay of Dead or Alive was unique at the time of its debut because it featured different choices in gameplay than other 3D fighting games (at least at the time).
Its most defining features were its speed and countering system. Dead or Alive put an emphasis on speed, and relied more on simplistic commands and reaction time. Furthermore, its countering system was the first in the fighting genre to utilize different commands that corresponded to each type of attack. There are two kinds of holds, an Offensive Hold (OH) and a Defensive Hold (DH). The latter are executed by holding back or forward on the directional pad along with the guard input to either force away or counter-damage an opponent.
The game also introduced an environmental system of the "Danger Zones" that surround the outer edges of the fighting arena (depending on the options, it can also completely consume it) and can send a character in the air so the opposing player can execute a juggling air combo. However, this can be avoided with a Ukemi (defensive roll).

The resolution of the video is something like 720x560 and aspect ratio of the video itself is 4:3, but many shots have been cropped from wider scenes so yeah...
Still I think it was a very good job due to all to-music fitting scenes.
Also Aki should come back with today technology.
PS: You could notice that in some shots she resembles a little Elizabeth from Bioshock: Infinite.
If you like Spirit Within and Lupin the 3rd Jazz Music...

PS: This is from a 2001 movie that flopped but is damn good and has all a Final Fantasy liker woud go for.
Fighter Destiny 2WIKIPEDIA ACKNOWLEDGES US THAT:
Fighter Destiny 2 made improvements upon its predecessor, boosting the FPS to 60, and adding graphic and audio enhancements. Some of the characters make a second appearance in the sequel, but the majority of the cast is all new. Although the game mechanics remain unchanged, a new "Fighter's Arena" mode has been added, a giant board game that allows players to build up their characters' attributes in addition to having them learn new fighting skills. The character Ryuji, from the first game, seems to have been renamed Saeki for unknown reasons.

THE TAS Link to videoEmulator Used: BizHawk 1.53
Re-records: 1200+ (I had to browse continually on the characters move-list for I kept forgetting some of them and many attacks have strict timing)
Lasting of the video: 16.830 frames (30 fps per second)
Character Used: Saeki (main character and mixture of Ryu from Street Fighter and Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden\Dead or Alvie, in Fighter Destiny 1st called "Ryuji")
Details about the run:
- Starts from Power On
- Maximum difficulty (becomes harder as the player forwards) as shown during the settings
- Mode Player: Fighters' Arena
- No need to move cursor on character screen, Saeki is already highlighter - he is the protagonist on a quest to become stronger. Kudos for the motivation of his fitting this run.
- Played as a mixture of pure tas and tap (so it' fast but tries to be entertaining)
- Always 6 moves on the grid after roulette appears and always chosen during the first half-turn of the roulette circler
- Slowed down occasionally to achieve those 1-frame counter-throws
- Skipped all other characters and went directy for every "Master" tile on the grid (every match is against "Master", sorry if it lack varieties, I will do a Survival Mode TAS in the near future, there you'll get the player character owning everybody)
- A single willing error near the end of the video because of lulz
- Ignored "Master" final suggestion because it's bullshit and deceives you

- Occasionally damage taken "for show" or as a "signature that the TAS is from Bottega del Doppiaggio"
- Lot's of counters
