ok, but heres problem 2. Do you have to kill any of the boom booms with magic/fire mario in world 6? Is it faster to kill the hammer bros in world 6 instead of avoid them? Im just curious because I need to know if the end result will really produce a gain in time. edit: and im more than willing to start from scratch, as ive mentioned in IRC to a few people, but like i said above i dont want to take the time to restart doing world 6 unless i get a positive gain of time. (I was going to restart World 1 anyway because i lost 57 frames thanks to what PJboy showed me + the other frames that you mentioned i lost.)

Sorry for the double post. The WIP is currently finished level 5. Level 4 is "fried approved" and level 5 currently isnt "fried-approved". Guess we will have to wait to find out.

Well, I got this crazy idea today, why not run all nes smb games at the same time? Is it even possible? Well, were gonna find out eventually! Ill post a wip of the first level after i finish them. Say what you think of the idea here :-D

type mario adventure in google and you should find it pretty fast, thats how i found it.

well, i think i might just give it a shot. all the areas you pointed out (except the last one, should be possible though not 100% sure on that) i saw in your run as improveable. Do you have aim or msn Kyrsimys? If you do then you can contact me (through pm if you want my msn) and you can give me some small explanations on the hack. (never played the hack myself, but even at that i saw the improveable areas XD)

well after going over your list, you seemed to have noticed most of the areas you lose time. I say weak because some of the things just dont seem frame perfect, and thats mostly whats expected of a tas. I would say the things that lost you the most frames were the areas where you didnt go through the walls.

Is it just me or does the TAS run for the hack mario adventure (smb3) seem really weak? How many people think its improvable? I think I might start working on a run for it later if alot of people think its improvable and would watch it.

Forget the run, i have to learn more about the physics of the game before i can make a fully optimized tas of it. I when ive reached the top 3 or so in real time competition ill probably come back to this. PS: im ranked 7'th at this time

theres plenty of shortcuts in super circuit, and i plan on using every one of them to my advantage, just some of the courses dont have any shortcuts, so some will be straight forward.

that previous run was crap, i improved my new one, and finished all 3 laps. Anyway, i know about NBT mike89, people on the mksc players page call it zzmting for mksc though. i got a little paranoid at the fact that frieds run was 21 frames faster than mine just because of level 2, so i improved it. All i have to say is this: (from startup to first frame of victory pose in level 2) Fried's total frame count: 1993 My total frame count: 1936 total difference: 57 frames in my favour eat that fried XD

your only 21 frames faster than me now, im ahead of you by one frame at the end of level one, but i cant seem to do the strat you do for level 2, ive tried inputting the same commands but i always get killed when trying to get passed the red bubble.
