Sort of unrelated, but I'm making a sort of extra difficult challenge for Majora's Mask and I want to know what is possible and what isn't. So far I have: -No Swamp Cruise -No Epona -No Powder Kegs -No Magic Beans -No Heart Pieces/Containers -Only the Zora, Goron, and Deku masks -No Mirror Shield -No Song of Storms -No Goron’s Lullaby Any corrections or additions to this list would be welcome. Also, sorry if this is a bit off topic from the run, but this was the only place I knew with alot of people good with glitches. It should only take 3-4 posts to be answered, so it shouldn't detract that much from the topic. This was the Majora's thread, so I decided to put it here. Sorry if it is in the wrong place.

Sorry for the confusedness, but what is ISoT? It's probably really obvious, bu I can't think of it at all.

What if you just give it a Rare Candy? Would it go to level 100 or level 2?

Just in case you don't know, WIP is Work In Progress. It sounds like you want to see finished movies, so it isn't quite the right term. I'm not trying to be picky or mean, just helpful.

Don't forget all the charmanders you can get in the volcano beside the Moltres egg. How many is it? 7? Anyways, if you play the pokeflute, they all line up and march, which is really cool. And is there an option that allows you to leave the level before reaching the exit? If there isn't, you could just snap photos like crazy so you run out of film.

Missed entertaining TAS opportunities there my man.
No, you wouldn't just stand around there waiting, you'd do a different part of the route and arrive there just as they disappear to collect your bottle.

Okay then, IPS patch, a .exe patch that doesn't really seem to work, and an instruction manual here: http://www.questforcalatia.net/ZeldaC/zc-full.zip for anyone who wants it. Also, I thought the NES section was for NES TAS. Since this wasn't a TAS, I decided it was slightly off topic and put it in this section.

I found this really cool hack for Legend of Zelda, it's nice and hard and very well made. Many things are completely unrecognisable and the whole game is completely changed. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put up a link to the patch (There's no ROM on the site), so if I'm not, you'd have to search it on google to find it. Otherwise, tell me it's allowed and I'll post it. Anyone who liked the first Legend of Zelda or thought it was too easy should try this.

That's the first time I've seen someone make a mistake due to overuse of grammar.

The run could be 7 seconds shorter!
I believe that while mario is frozen, during star-moving animations, he can't collect anything. Think about it: if he could, then you'd never see star animations in levels where the star is in a box and mario jumps and starts a ground pound in the middle of it.
I think the run would end with the last input, which would be seven seconds earlier because the input would be before instead of after the movie.

About the avatar thing, I noticed that FractalFusion was using a Solrock avatar from what he said was a good part of the run (In the submission). I liked it too, and I took a Lunatone avatar to match his, as he was the one who helped me most with this run.

I'd lower speed, becuase I have a Quick Claw anyways. Come to think of it though, I don't know if the defences matter either.

That must have taken a lot of work and time. Unfortunately, it came to late for my run, but if anyone does an improvement it should help them. Also, only Special Attack 4? No wonder nothing did as much damage as I thought it would.

Without testing, I'd think it would be leveling it up as the fastest way, but I'm not sure, as the evolution movie thingy takes a while. Once it's been decided which one to do, I'll start on it.

I find that bad thing about Mewtwo is that he sort of hard to control. His dodge makes him go far behind the other person so that its hard to attack them, but he runs really slowly. Also, it seems hard to damage anyone as Mewtwo, as all his good attacks are slow and hard to hit people with.

When teaching Fly, I overwrote the slot with the shortest attack name. Now that you mention it though, there are possible improvements to be had from having a path planned out, like catching the Wingull earlier as well.

I've tried the hall of fame teleport glitch, and it didn't work. It's easiest to do by catching lots of Pidgey's and Sand-Attacking things until their accuracy is really low, and then you bring out your starter.

I'm not really that great, becuase I never get to play anyone other than CPUs. Coincidently, my best two characters are Fox and Marth too.

I'd think Squirtle, as it can hit the fist gym hard, and is pretty strong later on as well. If anyone has reasons for me to take a different starter, please mention them.

What level does the Mewtwo come at? 70? And also, they're legendary Gerbils.

The problem is that I think their pokemon will be to high leveled the second time around, I and don't want to spend 2 hours fighting wild pokemon to level up.

Edit: just thought another way to speed it up...but this one will make is "less impressive". it basically is going to the pokemon centre in the town where the 5th gym is, so that when you die you don't have to backtrack through two roads.
Okay, if I understood this right, you want me to heal in the fifth town so that I don't faint in the sixth? Since I have to go to that town with the shop anyways to create it as a Fly destination, there is nothing wrong with going there before Mt. Pyre. It may even be faster. Also, when I have 1/3 or less health, my water attacks are stronger.
