Now that's a good question. I think the movie should end with the credits, so if I have to beat the Elite Four twice to do that, I guess that's fine. It might be a little hard though, considering their levels.

I might do this if 1) No one really wants to, and 2) It is actaully acceptable, being a slight bit of a remake. Any route/plan suggestions?

Sorry, I must have missed that Wingull. Either that or Water Gun actually did more damage. As for a screenshot, how about one of the battles with my rival, after it says "Grovyle used Leaf Blade", but before it says it missed.

I'll try that later. FractalFusion, what did you like so much about that screenshot? I noticed you took your avatar from it. And thanks for publishing my movie, Bisqwit.

But how long does it last for? The rest of the level?

Duh. I'm so stupid, I never thought of that. I just assumed it was an unskippable movie.

What exactly are you doing to skip the level ending dance?

As soon as you add a character that does something different, his move is not the same as any of the others. Therefore, it is either better or worse. If it's better, he becomes the dominant character. If it's worse, no one will ever use him.

I'd go for just beating the level. Some of the carpets are really out of the way. Also, I was just considering doing this about 2 days ago, but I guess you can do it. I'll find some game that doesn't have an analog stick.

That would be nice. Also, Donkey Kong isn't as bad as people think. His arms reach really far, and he's a lot faster than he seems at first.

Is this still being worked on, or is it up for grabs? I'd like to try this game, but does anyone have a updated copy of the route?

If this can be figured out, should a TAS be made? Oh, and look at what I found in the comments for that movie.

I really can't help you, because I have no experience with desyncs and I know nothing about how to fix them.

Too much science fiction for me, I think.

Underneath the poll, there is a button that says "View Results". Click on that if you want to see the results. On a somewhat related note: Are you allowed to vote on your own submissions?

Personally, I think SSBM is very unbalanced. While some really bad characters easily counter good characters, that can't do much more than that.

Alakazam still beat Jolteon in one on one though, making him the best rental pokemon. The only things that stood a chance to him in rentals were Chansey, Persian, Snorlax, Slowbro, and Jynx.

I thought that was what you were trying to do, as you posted in all the pokemon related threads. Anyways, if anyone wants to continue this, they are welcome. I don't really like this game to much, so maybe I'll work on Pokemon Stadium instead. I agree that we should do more pokemon runs, even though most of them are pretty boring to watch, it's for the sake of completeness.

There were many complaints like that in the planning thread, and I'm worried about not enough people being able to watch it to get any votes.

Buying an escape rope would have been nice, along with teaching Kyogre Waterfall and Surf at the same time. Also, the six gym could probably have been done better. There are no doubt improvements in Victory Road that I didn't notice because it was too dark. Small improvements in luck manipulation would also really add up over time. And now that I look that over again, I'm sure that I used more than 8307 rerecords. Maybe the count was changed somehow, because that's definately what the movie info screen said.

I never even played it enough to notice that the characters were different.

Okay, I stayed up a little late, woke up earlier than normal, and did a lot of work on this. The battles in the Elite Four were faster to do than I thought, but Victory Road was very hard. FractalFusion, could you tell me what settings and rom version you used to play without a desync so I can put them in the submission? Thanks in advance. Also, final time was 1:49:16, or 393380 frames. It took 8307 rerecords.

I tried Banjo Tooie and I didn't even get that far. There was a fair bit of lag creating the puzzle to get to the first world, and in the first world itself there was a massive amount of lag. When you rolled, it would take about 30 seconds before your roll was done, and sometimes it would randomly freeze and you would have to make a savestate, and then load it to unfreeze it.
