Err, should I beat Richter to unlock R&M Mode and Sisters Mode? Although unnecessary, it wouldn't prolong the run much.

*Sigh* I should not have submitted my "-3 stage ending" SMB movie until now. *regreting* So you see how unfair inconstant judging progress is!

I found it more attracting to obsolete these new .fm2 movies instead.

This still doesn't work for me... did you upload the correct version? It is the exact same filesize as the one before. Or... I guess that is not so strange if all you did was change OR to AND. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.
Are you sure? I downloaded and tesed it just now. It worked (saved empty-frame-lengthened MMV files without crash) for me. The fixed one is of size 68.67 KB, while the old buggy one was 68.76 KB o_O EDIT: If you are still experiencing such problems with the fixed version, please PM me with the error message.

I have problems with adding frames and saving. It isn't a new problem. Steps to replicate: - open any file - right click and select Add Frame(s) anywhere - save the file (yes to overwrite) I can send the error message I get via PM (it's long) if there is somehow problems to replicate it.
Oops, I mistakenly typed a logical OR instead of a logical AND in the parsing method! I'll make a hotfix right now.

Bump with the high CPU usage issue solved: Executable: http://ifile.it/uvrjyi8/tas-movie-editor-v0-12-1d.7z Source code: http://ifile.it/5sx7hvl/tas-movie-editor-v0-12-1d-src.7z
- ETC::Fixed high CPU usage. - ETC::The editor console will be automatically closed when a new movie is loaded. - MMV::Experimental MMV support. - FCM::Fixed a bug that caused the wrong length of controller data to be saved. - FCM::Fixed broken detection and saving of movie start mode. - ETC::Added insufficient specifications to MMV, FBM and PXM formats. - ETC::Fixed a bug that ReadHEX didn't generate the leading 0 when the HEX number was less than 0x10. - ETC::Fixed a bug that Movie Start mode displayed "Reset" instead of "Save", and vice versa. - ETC::Placed all the 4 Controller checkboxes in the edit dialog over the texts that could obscure them on some systems.
EDIT: Please don't use this buggy revsion for editing MMV files.

I only experienced something like the front page didn't display that I had logged in until I manual reloaded the page. It has never automatically logged me out, though.

I guess that's the same trick as in the MMZ series. Just do a jumping slash right before you land and do a second attack then. I haven't tested it in MMZXA yet.

I am afraid that it can be extremely difficult in real-time, if not impossible.

OpenGL starts out faster than SoftRasterizer, but gets slower than it in a few minutes. Is there a bug?

EDIT: I submitted a patch to "upgrade" the lastest revsion (r41) to my newly modified version (v0.12.1c with experimental MMV support) on SF. EDIT 2: But the MMV support was flawed.

I've found quite a few new things on the NG run w/o SG. Two more bosses can be skipped so far. I may come up with a very rough (unoptimized) test run soon. EDIT:

Has anyone tested the Illusion Fist's limits under TAS conditions? Would be interesting to know. :)
It causes longer "flinches" of your enemy than Kaiser Knuckles (or something like that) does... But weird enough, its normal usage deals "Critical Art" slash-type damage instead of plain hammar-type damage. Just test it on your Doppelganger. BTW, for laughs, just try out Rush with Illusion Fist equiped.

With all due respect, this movie doesn't aim for stealing the World Record from you, but it is merely my homage (or satire, depending on your point of view):

However, I'd like to make clear that, in fact, you didn't gain any 1-frame with "a better flagpole glitch/whatever", but instead you gained most of them thanks to the new acceleration trick carried over from smb1, for which you should give credit to me specially ;)

This movie is merely 1 frame faster than the previous one by HappyLee, due to faster wall-entering on "Stage -3", which was considered unimprovable.

I am sorry that I joined but didn't do anything for it. This run is very well done, and your encoding looks great. Do you have any future plan for a non-out-of-bound run? I'd like to join it as well. :p

I can't believe that I watched the whole movie without tthe help of the script to remove those boring things. I need to rewatch it again with an improved lua script in order to vote for it. And I demand this movie be published using that script.
