Hi. 60fps is the new hotness. That peaks out at 1080p.

It probably makes more sense when it's a deer saying it.

Xkeeper thinks this argument is dumb. You should listen to him. We can work on the part where he thinks this whole site is shit gradually. Baby steps.

Holy crap, this topic is still alive. Back on topic, Apple still hasn't blessed their subscribers with the latest episode. Also, this whole $29.99 "Volume" thing seems to mean they intend to sell every season split into two parts, which comes out to $9.99 more than they were originally selling the first two for. (They've since split seasons 1 and 2 into two volumes each.)

So, how many lulz are to be had at the Pony Archive getting shut down due to CnD, and the remaining administration pitching a fit?

We never have family over for the holidays anymore, and for that, I am thankful.

Cave Story Plus allows you to switch between the updated and classic music and graphics from the options menu.
Yes, but I hear the Original music included in Cave Story+ is mono while the copies in the original game are apparently Stereo. I am not confusing the new remixed versions with the old original versions.
The original music is included in its original format. If it is mono, it is because they did something to break the music player.

High quality FM: Acceptable, sounds correct. High quality PSG: Interpolates square waves into sine waves, kill with fire.

All you need for Windows Media Player or the DivX Player is AC3Filter. Or, Media Player Classic - Home Cinema has an AC3 decoder built-in, as well as DXVA accelerated decoders for H.264, MPEG-2, and WMV, depending on what's supported by your video hardware.

Yeah, basically, the only sound enhancement option that should be enabled is "YM2612 High Quality," which enables emulating the FM chip at its native sample rate and downsampling the result. This results in correct sound for a number of FM effects, such as the signpost spin in Sonic 1. Oh, and the lasers in Launch Base Zone in Sonic 3. The other two "High Quality" modes would appear to be nothing more than interpolation of some sort, which results in less accurate sound. Turning on the "PSG High Quality" results in sine waves instead of square waves, and makes Sonic 1-3 jump sound more like the one from Sonic CD.
