Neigh, the horse is still alive. I had to. I'm not sorry.

Sorry about the double post, and thank you for the reminder. I see the arguments about it obsoleting/not obsoleting the pre-existing run...I suppose I didn't consider the strategy differences as a condition for not obsoleting the run. I am going to pull a Switzerland and be neutral on this one.

I'd definitely like to see this run. The Pizza Planet level was truly demonic... :)

I am not ashamed to say that the Shining Force games were probably the games I played most in my entire life. Kudos to you Kobold and I'm looking forward to seeing progress on the run!

I definitely liked this run more than previous Monopoly runs. Were I able to vote, I would vote yes!

Definitely psyched about a Snake's Revenge run. As for the answer of prisoners you need to rescue: infinity. ...or at least it seems that way. Seriously, how many of these helpless, pixelated morons are there?

I'm definitely interested in seein' Dick Tracy do his thing. I rented this game 8 or 9 times when I was younger, and seeing it talked about brings me back. I'd probably like to see a perfected one just for nostalgia's sake, and you're doing an awesome job thus far.

I understand that...it just seemed like voting for the wrong reasons, is all. Understandable if you don't like the game, but there's no arguing that it's phenomenally-played.

Just a thought... Why bother to watch a run on a game you already know you dislike? And then...why bother to vote if you hated the game in the first place?

Sick. That's all I can even say. Were I able to vote yes, I obviously would.

DLing as we speak thanks to JXQ's recommendation. 23 seconds shaved off is extremely impressive, considering the original run's quality!

Holy shit, this would be the sweetest run EVER. In other news, I bought a PITFALL! shirt for $5 today at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood. Anyone else want one?

I thought the 35 second time attack was the fastest thing I ever saw, here goes a 34 second one. amazing!
A game called Clue for Genesis (and SNES) can be completed even faster, but I think it's not worth publishing unless there's a code to access some suitless mode or something. I guess there are not many other games that can be completed faster than Monopoly. (Beware, here's the Clue thread: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2477)
Yes! Now if you really wanna draw some ooh's and aah's, speedrun the board game in real life! How fast can he move that car? Will the dice land correctly?

Golden Axe...wow that brings me back. I remember playing this game on my brother's Sega Genesis, cursing those baddies who stood in my way to the depths of golden hell. And you come along like some sort of twisted therapist and encourage them to commit suicide! Well done. I'd vote yes if I could.

I first saw this movie and thought "OVERKILL"... Then I realized: That's the point! If I could vote, I'd vote yes. I love a bit of the old ultraviolence! P.S. Was it worth the fabulous prizes? P.P.S. I imagine these guys going back to their desk jobs the next day, financial planning for the little old lady down the road...AND THEN WASTING THE SUSPICIOUS TEENAGERS SKATEBOARDING OUTSIDE HER HOUSE!

As a long time fan of the videos on this site, I have to say that a vast majority of this argument is hilarious. Here we have a game like SDW that REQUIRES a lot of information on how certain tricks are pulled off, reasons for doing things, etc. etc. etc. ...now, without that info, I would have a lot of questions for JXQ/Fabian, which is precisely why they answered them: THEY SAVED TIME! ...now that I think about it, maybe JXQ/Fabian's lives are one massive TAS... Oh, and congrats on your Monopoly run, Phil. I never thought anything would be less fun that playing the game, but I was wrong! Love, Krunkalastic
