From what I hear, Discourse is... not good. It looks shiny, but it requires far more hardware and headache to get running than you might expect, especially if you want to customize things as TASvideos likely will. Its management could stand more than a few lessons in customer relations, such as not banning people for reporting bugs. Admittedly TDWTF forums are full of self-admitted trolls, but still, that's a bit extreme. Drama aside, I will say that if you do not like infiniscroll, then Discourse is definitely not for you.

Plus there are the odd ones like me that don't like browsing with the browser maximized despite having a widescreen... screen. Of course a responsive design could in theory handle the whole spectrum of browser window sizes.

In case you haven't seen, Toby doesn't want Undertale on TASvideos.

Isn't AGDQ 2016 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation? Doctors Without Borders is SGDQ.

Oh man that's a huge discovery. Shame all that work might need to go away for it though.

In absence of a server of my own, I use dropbox for hosting html/javascript. They do have bandwidth limits though, if that's a concern.

The page you're looking for appears at a glance to be http://tasvideos.org/PublicationsFromNewestToOldest.html The NewMovies page could use a rebrand however. Right now its url (and its link on http://tasvideos.org/Movies.html -> Lists) suggests that it's the list of newest movies, not the most recently updated publications. It's a mismatch.

Which run do you mean? I couldn't find any submissions or publications with that date.
If you're logged into the main site it adjusts timestamps based on your timezone setting.

Huh, didn't even know it set accesskey attributes (or even that's what they were). Definitely a conflict though, strikethrough and submit are both set to s.

That's a phpbb2 thing from what I've seen. Restarting the browser also clears that session cookie.

Yeah looks like a cache corruption. It's rare, and if ctrl-f5 doesn't fix it then clearing your cache definitely should.

The temp encode's audio is desynced. It's subtle at first but looking ahead it only gets more noticeable.

Well shoot. Got hung up on not using fibonacci numbers as themselves. And 6 is just a facepalm.

So the original problem could be made slightly "harder" by phrasing it as: "Prove that every natural number can be written as the sum of unique, non-consecutive fibonacci numbers."
Am I missing something obvious or is that not possible? 5 = 2 + 3 6 = 1 + 2 + 3 8 = 1 + 2 + 5 8 = 3 + 5

I reread turnbyturn.txt every so often, always so fun to see how you're abusing the game so. Here's hoping the stars align for more soon.

The forums have always handled read status weird (and I think it's this version of phpBB), and restarting the browser or logging out and in will reset the time to the last time you actually visited. Probably a cookie that doesn't clear well but I've not bothered to look. >_>

I'm not sure, but it may not be fair to exclude a third of the results. When you include the 333733 rounds in which the host unwittingly revealed the car, you have a win rate of 33%, the same as only choosing once.

As far as I know there is no limit to the number of badges you can own. If there is I never hit it, but I never really went badge farming either. On the first approach to Creepy Steeple you use Flurry to blow down a haystack (~4:38 on YouTube), then switch to Yoshi while you're going through the 2d path on the next screen. My question is, would switching in the background (like you do after pushing the rock) be better, or does it not matter?

The bbcode is parsing it like a relative link, just like relative links in regular html.

From what I've seen the standard stance on a glitch is to restrict its use at all, not how it's used. The proposed run seems arbitrary enough without stirring the pot with the out of bounds glitch too. Unless you're doing it for your own fun instead of submission, then knock yourself out.

Could the starred movie on the front page always have a link to the movie? Currently it only shows up as a Read More if the description is too long. For example, [1575] NES Tiny Toon Adventures by Kaylee in 11:01.88 has no such link when it shows on the front page.

No country is a true democracy. The US is quite democratic though, where (at least in theory) every voter can make a difference, and not only with the election of representatives. Heck, get enough of the populace to agree and they can change the highest law of the land directly.
