Why does he have a case for the Gamecube Tetris Worlds pictured if it's not listed on that site? >_> EDIT: And I love how the Light-Up Target Gift Card (No Value) has a value of $5 according to the table.

People claim to be superior for using the (J) version?

Just because one game is fun to watch with X condition (which may or may not be arbitrary) does not make another game fun to watch with Y condition. Or with X condition for that matter.

But if we increase the troll population then we need to build bridges to house them all.

Always, always fleetsave, unless you really feel that the risk (fleet go boom) is better than the reward (two, three minutes saved per launch). I learned that lesson the hard way. At least I didn't get upset at the people who attacked me (heck, I even congratulated them quick), because that could have made things ugly (and Graf Zahl aka Candlemass is a fun guy if you get to know him).

This run is full of win. Excellent work. I like how you worry about not saving time using a minor trick, and then artificially lengthen the movie file anyways. :P

Key words: reliably reported. *shrug* Doesn't really matter, it'll take years to use just 250 fields, even if you happen to be playing in a 10x speed beta universe that lasts that long...

319 used to be the biggest reliably reported. Ah, the good old days... (less than a month ago actually <_<)

That would be the result of a scrolling glitch; normally you would never see anywhere near as much of the door as you see there.

Except that his mom was mugged, meaning his section of the credits was very bland, and that made him sad. :(

I think you're supposed to willingly suspend disbelief there, as what fun would the game be if all your major items disappeared, especially since you need to travel back in time at least once, or at least three times for a 'all major items' run... This run was very impressive, and I don't think more needs to be said on that topic.

It's a Commander feature actually, which isn't all that useful unless you want to harvest an existing debris field (hence why it's in Commander, since that's just a bunch of features which save time and arguably give no real ingame advantage). One can still send recyclers through the fleet screen, just be sure to change 'Planet' to 'DF' on the second screen.

Go to the galaxy view, there should be a box called 'Legend'. That generates a tooltip explaining what the symbols mean. Or, for easy reference:

Well, you can keep small colonies, if you're focused enough to remember to delete them before you build them up too much and it really hurts that they do have to go... >_>

:) Best of luck in getting good sizes. I know it hurts early game, but trust me, you're best off killing colonies which are too small for any long term endeavors (less than 200 fields typically...) on sight, unless your luck is really that bad.

http://websim.speedsim.net/ http://www.speedsim.net/eng/ http://drago-sim.com/index.php?lang=english (might be outdated, might not, I don't recall any major changes to the combat system since v0.75a...) EDIT: Oops, I suppose I should clarify that these will help you determine what you need to destroy anything, but they cannot predict fleets needed, only simulate fleets inputted.

Why is Vatchern unoriginal (not meaning to insult or anything, just a bit of jest)?

That doesn't stop people unfortunately. Unless Yrr was in the public beta when they tried this (no rules, occasional bursts of increased speed factor)... I miss public beta though, I was top 100 on pretty much only mines. :P

How are your account(s) doing? What style of play are you... playing? Me, I'm mostly a miner, maybe with the occasional raid. I might start again in uni 30 (joined up with a bunch of other staff when it came out), now that it has established itself a bit, though I hear it's as buggy as ever. :/

Ah, I realized that was worded poorly. What I meant was that it goes by the newest post since "You last visited on 2007-09-06 21:56:53" (found at the top of index.php) for where that link goes, never to the first unread post, making it a very annoying feature, especially if you are used to a forum software that does take you to the first unread post. Never mind that viewing any page in the thread marks all posts as read, even if they're 100 pages away.

Dear Fabian, Why did the makers of phpBB decide that it was a good idea that the 'View newest post' button take you to the newest post since you last visited the forums, regardless of whether you've read that post already? It's so annoying to click on it and be taken to page 3 of 5 every single time. Signed, An avid reader
