The french translation of the main page should be something like that : https://pastebin.com/GMaFXLWU Though a double check by Grincevent or someone else would be highly appreciated.

It would be good to have a first list of pages with high translation priority. Count me in for the french translations.

Wasn't the Sleep on Hidden Vein (2h27 in the encode) a little bit overkill ? Other than that, it looks really well planned and done.

Stage 9 boss 4 frames faster (due to skipping his text 4 frames sooner...) Now what is interesting is the ammo I used. 1 Flame (instead of 2 on previous wip), 2 Whirlwind (8 left to use), 2 Bubble (no more to use, which is good), 6 Missile (5 left to use), and last but not least, 4 Dirt (lagless Meteor double hit !!, 6 left to use). I think a Meteor double hit might also be possible on stage 11, but definitely not on stage 13 (the boss will never be on the left of the screen).

5 frames improvement over boss 3 re-fight by not using the Spike (and so not refilling it), and instead using some charged Missiles/Stars as well as a lagless charged Groud Spike.

Poor Cortex-sama, already the 4th time he got tased this year. One little question though, why didn't you get crystal #10 instead of crystal #25 ? I am assuming it's because the boucing speed on the box was too high, or is there another reason ?

I don't know if you will actually re-fight the S2 boss in the end stages or skip him, but if you must fight him then it's a perfect Meteor target (we managed to get 2 Meteors without any lag). Else I think there might be some other boss where you will be able to use Meteor without lag (it should be ok as long as the boss doesn't do any extra animation). What are the bosses you must fight and the bosses you will skip ?

As I said in my submission, all the tricks and explanations can be found in this document. Basically wall glitches are not possible in every walls, and you just have to jump at the right position to do them. Corner bugs are doable with most of the corners, and you just need to have an angle slighlty greater than 45°.

I guess you were refering to this link. Some random thoughts I got while watching the level : -From frames 43800 to 44150, sometimes you dashed up to the end of the edge, sometimes you jump before reaching it. Is this a difference between falling on the left side and falling on the right side ? -Before the miniboss checkpoint, you should be able to be 1 pixel ahead if you jump directly instead of redashing for a few frames. Maybe this pixel can save a frame somewhere.

Pour un détail comme ça tu peux effectivement soumettre le TAS, au pire des cas tu auras juste modifier ta soumission avec une movie qui skip le fameux texte à la fin.

Well for the ceiling clips we did it with brute force, it was far more effective and less time consuming than doing them manually.

Well, team 4 without the Missiles and Shurikens did better than team 3 on stage 3, and team 3 without Earth Power did better than team 4 on stages 5 and 6, so it isn't really helping... If you can get the best segments on stage 3 without the Missiles and Shurikens, then just go for it.

Here are the optimizations I found after looking closely to the current wip and Team 3 run (up to segment 3 for now) : frame 30474 (X pos : 501) to frame 30646 (X pos : 949) : Team 3 took an alternative route, dodging one lag frame and starting to dash at the end of the section sooner. They reached the X position 951 two frames sooner. frame 31817 (X pos : 3885) to frame 32387 (X pos : 402) : The beginning is where Team 4 started to setup taking damage before the Miniboss, and the end is right before the ladder (both teams are far enough from the camera to setup the Ghost Fall). Team 3 was two frames faster (and ended up at the same X position), so that's what we should take. Note that you must delay by one frame the first Flame Charge else it's will not be sufficiently charged (with the current wip inputs), but then you can easily resync with Team 3 inputs without any time loss. Edit : Segment 3 : Ideally, headbonk and shooting the enemy would be the best, not sure that it's doable though. Getting Team 4 camera would also be better for hex-editing purpose. frame 33805 (X pos : 2173) to frame 34228 (X pos : 199) : Not sure about this one since team 3 started the section at X position 2174 and ended up at X position 200, which may have an impact overall (as well as the different camera setting). Despite significant differences in the route, both teams took the same time for this section, so it would be better to test both of them. I think these 4 points are the only possible improvements from Team 3 compared to Team 4

I checked the differences between the current wip and our segments 1 and 4. Segment 1 is because we jumped before the end of segment 0, and segment 4 even if the camera reached the next segment 1 frame sooner, our ZX is still 3 frames slower than yours (we started the segment a little bit more on the left). So there is currently nothing to change in the wip, and we can go to the next level (either level 3 or level 4, depending if we want Earth for levels 5 and 6 or Shuriken+Missile for level 3)

The corner bug and wall bug have the same effect for the same reason, but the setup is so different that it desserves two different names. In fact, the wall bug only works that way in TR1, but for the next games the alternative method is to drop and then pick flares/items near a wall, which isn't possible at all in TR1 (with one exception named Pierre DuPont). However the dive bug isn't the same bug at all, it's something like Lara's animation when she hits the edge of a ledge taking priority over death.

Yeah it's a sidestep descending bug since when you regain control of Lara, she is considered as on the ground for 1 frame (same thing at the beginning of Tomb of Tihocan).

It is in fact 5 frames faster (in-game time, the game runs at 30 fps) each time to jump instead of running first. However it allowed me to grab the key underwater earlier since Lara is more on the left, and in the end running first is 2~3 frames faster.

So like Ripper Roo, it doesn't save any time to start the victory dance on Komodo Joe's head ? Anyway good job so far, warp room 3 will be interesting.

Beside some laggy rooms and the item drops, the game should effectively sync well. The level order is also something to discuss, as levels 8 - 7 - 1 are the obvious first 3, but then it's less straightforward. Team 4 went for 4 - 3 - 2 - 5 - 6 (extra frames in stage selection : 6) Team 3 went for 4 - 5 - 6 - 2 - 3 (extra frames in stage selection : 2) Team 7 went for 4 - 3 - 2 - 6 - 5 (extra frames in stage selection : 6) It's worth pointing out that in each case, the shield was only used in stage 5 and 6. Apart from Bubble, I believe the weapon usefulness is Shuriken > Earth = Missile >>> Wind, so I would go for Team 3 level order. Is there any time to save thanks to the Earth weapon in stage 2, 5, 6 ? Or thanks to the Shuriken in stage 5 ?
