The other issue you guys need to consider is that there is a submission to SDA that is going to be around the time of guano's movie. Do you really want a movie closer in time to a run on SDA when a much much faster run is available?
Yes, if the faster run is sloppy.

There were many inoptimizations compared to GB's wip (for example, no owl skip) so unfortunately I have to give this a no.

Will be watching at work. EDIT: The first half was slow, but the second half made up for it with incredible glitching. LOL at biking on water and the messed up graphics. Giving this a yes.

Wouldn't a BLJ-less run be a 16-star run? You'd have to ban mips abuse to keep it 70. Then that would be a "nonBLJ/mips" run, which is getting much more arbitrary.
You can't get past 50 star door or Bowser 3 staircase without BLJ.

I always thought this game's 00 agent was harder than GE yet you breezed through it and left an entertaining bloodbath in your wake. Good job.

Such a site does exist - http://stuckgamer.com

JXQ: it's the most concise answer. Why watch vids if you know you won't like them?

Then don't watch them. Simple.

Just read up on the submissions and it'll be clear.

I thought microstorage had a limit of 2 mb. EDIT: forget that, movie submit page isn't linked to microstorage.

Could you drain the water by stomping the pillars and somehow force yoursef into the area where the second bowser is by doing BLJs?
first you need to get to the pillars.
Can't you get to them just by walking through some doors in the castle?
No it's only accessible from the moat door (which requires the water to be drained) or the door in the basement, the latter of which would defeat the purpose since you would be able to enter DDD early by then anyway.

Would a game genie code be able to manipulate the timer?

I tried using metal mario to open the moat door but he just stands there. Also using a cheat to bypass the VCutM grate doesn't do much good as it seems like the trigger to enter the area doesn't exist until you drain the moat, otherwise it's just solid ground colored black.

Maybe he doesn't know about all the glitches in Primo's new run, perhaps that is why his route is outdated. Although it is a pain to read through 30 pages.

AKA said something about the DDD trigger probably extending all the way around the BitFS entrance, however this is not true ... using hyperspeed it is indeed possible to make it past the trigger, which conveniently stops shortly before the entrance, here is a PJ64 savestate of Mario past the trigger. However it would take significantly more BLJs to achieve the kind of speed needed to bypass the trigger, but don't count out a 0 star run just yet.

I've already made the defined catagory which is "don't use this specific generic glitch, but use whatever else neccessary to beat the game as quickly as possible".
Even this definition poses problems, for example in CCM when you get the "wall kicks will work" star you have to do a long jump and then pull back, would that count as a BLJ or are you going to revise the definition so only BLJs that increase speed are not allowed?

I assume the only thing that was changed was the ending so I'll throw in a yes even though I slightly preferred the old submission.

I believe there are enough fast individual stars that a 70 star run would not need any 100 coin stars at all.
