Thanks for the info! It will take some time to redo, since this game doesn't support hex-editing.

Simple game which is fun to TAS. But is it fun to watch? First level: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1069034091/Devil_Hunter_Yohko.gmv Lag control makes rerecord-count increase faster. 00FF1C1F = boss hp address

But in the meantime, could you remove the leading spaces from your submission text? I've noticed your past submissions did this too, and all of them have awkward formatting which looks horrid on smaller screens.
I wish I could format it better. Should I use % to change line?

Okay, along the way I improved it more again :D But what do you say about ending input? Shouldn't it go to the credits (therefore you have to wait 30 seconds for last input)?

Even if there's still 7 frames to improve? Plus perhaps 10 more frames in the final boss if you get lucky and boss stays still like in 6:38 run. 0:58 - Imp has to be killed to get a key for door at 1:06, can be done 5 frames faster 3:32 - I have to kill this man because of damage control, 10 frames lost. Could have taken 2 more damage to save 2 frames

Improved by 4 seconds to 6:34 4:09 - More than few frames gained here. 3½ seconds to be exact. Kill goblins so you don't have to wait them to walk off screen. Just couldn't let such a big time waster stay there.

Completed in 6:38 0:55 One pillar doesn't drop down, perhaps I was too fast for it 0:59 Few frames could be found here 1:03 One frame lost here 1:22 Lower lever is needed for bridge to appear (1:41) upper lever controls the rope 2:06 Few frames could be found here 3:31 Few frames could be found here 3:47 One goblin must be killed so the one drawing bridge wakes up and starts doing his job 3:58 This switch puts the chain down (4:32) 4:09 Few frames could be found here 5:02 Few frames could be found here 5:10 No need to fight the "Behemoth" 5:18 No need to go up and lure the giant onto bridge 5:37 Snail wants 16 gold. Treasure chests give 6/12 gold and I had 18 5:40 Ring and scroll are needed to get the final boss killer weapon 6:37 Few frames could be found here These glitches made the run less entertaining, I don't think it's worth polishing and submitting.

Test run completed in 8:19 Memory Addresses: 00FF2239 - your health (128 max) - Potions heal 40/46 HP 00FF2D7A - enemy 00FF2D00 - enemy ? 00FF1F43 - gold (only needed at 7:13) I just have to manage health better so I don't need to collect any health potions that are far away from the route. -Healt potion and coins at 1:35 will probably be skipped (0:16) -The bottle I begin to fetch at 2:46 is not needed. (0:40) -The axe I got at 4:48 is needed to kill the goblin that draws bridge later, but maybe it's not needed here :) -I tested axe on last boss but it doesn't do damage, so scroll + ring is a must -Look at my health at 5:12, WTH? -5:57 this key is not needed

mklip2001: Collecting health potions in the last level doesn't take any extra time. Priam: I edited the submission text and tried to explain objectives, briefly. Submission text needs a general description about the game. Should I just copy it from Wikipedia?

Desyncs after first level. And why not save three frames standing closer to right side of screen at end of level?

Well, I checked both of your WIPs several times and in the first one you stood up there much closer to the right side of the screen than in the second WIP. Asteroids: Nothing special here, AFAIK. Just don't collect more than 49 balls or you'll be slowed by a bonus.

You could end the level 3 frames faster if you had done it like in your previous WIP. In the 2nd level you can improve Flip's run at 4:13: When you make a jump you should whip the wheel once. Then run down and jumpwhip the wheel again to open the gate. Run under the gate and then jump left on top of it's spikes and you can reach the platform without grabbing.

Everyone can use Elemental Sword :) edit: Final boss is really tough (25000 hp). I probably need 5 cure rings and a bit grinding to raise my max dmg from 800 to 1000. Black Dragon has 2-3 attacks in a turn and in order to beat it I have to manipulate it to do normal attack ~300 plus firestorm ~120. Gargoyles before the last boss easily annihilate rest of the team. If Elrad had 600 MP he could eplode twice and save the whole team, but it would take too much time to level him up.

Yeah, but it is a test run after all. After 4th member, Midi, joins the team she could take the lead if her offense develops at the same rate as main character's. In my run Midi's offense is 170 higher than A's when she joins. The Wizard boss in Volcano could be beaten with Elrad's spells. No need to get A's offense up if Midi can do the job instead.

I couldn't stop... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1849546116/Sorcerer%27s%20Kingdom%20%28U%29%20%281993%29%20%5B!%5D.gmv Almost 54 minutes played. One long dungeon left where main character has to fight a lot to get his offense up to a point he can damage bosses. Then there's a "sub-boss", a little dungeon and the final boss. 1½ hours seems possible.

Anyway, I'm not continuing this run, but next we should get Elrad killed when fightning fireball throwing bagbears. Soloing is the fastest way in this game.

I played through the game just recently. It is simple but enjoyable. Here's a rough test run up to swamp: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/371174772/Sorcerer%27s%20Kingdom%20%28U%29%20%281993%29%20%5B!%5D.gmv I'm really underleveled right now and probably need one more piece of armor (Kite shield) to beat the boss of swamp area. I initially thought half an hour would be nice to achieve but it seems like even under 20 minutes sounds posssible. Whole game would be something like 2 hours mostly grinding and I don't know whether that's entertaining to watch or not.

I don't want to discourage you but this is a test run, right? I'd like to see someone to polish my run and submit it too. I lost my improved beginning with broken HDD so I don't have motivation to through it again.

Hey, he's a valuable meat shield! Would have been perfect if the characters would have been named T, A and S.

Up to the beginning of 5th shrine (~14:54). http://www.freewebs.com/suklaalevy/files/loo-wip-brass.rar Playing movie with default settings on 2363 version results sometimes in a desynch, but when I check Auto Lag Advance on and Auto-frameskip / Throttle off, it _never_ desynchs. Still, I get a desynch when I record an AVI (after leaving Brass' shrine). I'll put this on hold until Toothache tests this with his new comp.

Ending was more entertaining than I though :) Of course I voted yes. Lua map was nice addition.

Wow, I checked GameFAQs and it will be quite a job to get all 60 scrolls and 42 gems. In my run only a fraction of scrolls are needed.

Yes, Legend of Oasis now looks like how it should be. However, this is only in Window size x1 mode. In other modes there's a thick vertical line on screen. OSD information is mirrored. Maybe something wrong with my display drivers?
