Works with newest FCEU. How about: -Takes damage to save time (時間を短くするダメージを請ける) I think it was well planned, since you heal only certain amount of health after each area. Some info about the game would be nice, all I know is that areas are based on zodiac. I vote yes.

I'm sorry for replying so late. Now I find the game not very good, cancelled. Still thank all gays for comments.
Hmm, a little typo-fixing wouldn't be bad here.

Nice glitch through wall in 6-2 :) First boss is lot faster without a bottle, I tested. Choosing an item itself takes 3 seconds. Taking the yellow bottle just before first boss is useless if you ask me. It doesn't do enough damage. Test if your strategy is optimal with first boss. There's a 1:18 seconds damageless perioid after enemy turns to yellow. I wonder if the skull could be somehow "synced" so it could be thrown after the enemy takes that spurt.

One easy power bottle is in scrolling 5-2 @ 12:40. I vote yes for default health.

Loved this, awesome work! Efficient, smart, and funny, too! The fighting between the players was hilarious-- I loved how they seemed to keep getting a little bit wiser to the other's actions, and the fight would deepen.
Poor Axel always got rejected by Blaze :( Weird ending glitch was an kind of anti-climax, still voting yes.

Very nice! I'm glad I happened to familiarize myself with this game just before seeing your run. Now I can appreciate it more :) Good you managed to skip annoying Yeti boss too. Eagerly waiting for your updates.

I've just had it with Rambo for a while if not forever :) I'll continue doing Beyond Oasis if I could find correct mood for it. I left the game with low spirit power and it depresses me :/

hazeus: Nice! I just didn't know that secret passage in 2nd mission. You have clearly played more this game than me. However, I don't intend to do this game anymore.

I have seen this game as "want-to-see-TAS'd" on some peoples' pages. http://www.freewebs.com/suklaalevy/files/megadrive/DecapAttack(UE)(!)-WIP.rar A rough run-through almost without power-ups. It takes 24 minutes but optimized could be somewhere near 22 minutes. POWER UPS: (each lasts 10 seconds) -Move faster and jump higher -Extend your reach and strengthen you punch -Let you control a powerful ball of light effective against bosses Haven't tested this yet, but could be handy in slow bosses (Hovering Clam, Yeti and final demon boss). I don't know the real names as Gamefaqs gives so little information. Damn, I have to buy the "real" version :) The rest are pretty much useless since there are no places where enemies make you wait for very long: -Wipe out every enemy on sight -Freeze enemy movement -Make immune to enemy attacks I see this as a potential publish-worthy game to do. How about you others? PS. I have lost my skills to make hyperlinks :(

Is it just me, or are the graphics in this game really disappointing for a Genesis game? My first thought was that it looked like a DOS VGA game.
Well, this was one of the first Genesis games... There was pretty big lag in Mission 3 when all of the bombs were going off. Was there no way to kill any more guys to deal with that? Of course I tried it and it was slower. Logically thinking killing bomb deployers would cause less lag. Every level looks basically the same, and ends with the same boss fight with slightly different vehicles. I can continue with disappointing boss fights. The tank can't even hit you! You bet I cracked after I found that out :D

I managed to finish 2nd mission and gained 13 frames more bringing total to 3:33. Unfortunately I made a mistake in rescuing 1st secret agent. With machinegun it is 6 frames faster and now I have to battle through hex-edit or play again which may take few hours (because I'm slow). After 2nd mission I don't expect much improvement but often you can find yourself pleasantly surprised after this kind of thoughts...

http://www.freewebs.com/suklaalevy/files/megadrive/toejam.rar Toejam & Earl (REV 00) (U) [!] This was made a long time ago without frame advance IF I recall correctly. Would it be worth submitting if it was polished?

Yep, that sucks. Anyhow I've progressed slowly. 1st mission 55 frames gained. 2nd mission 2:25 this far, still have the final mad dash through lag, which may take a LOT of time to do as well or better as in my first run.

I learned my lesson. I submitted before showing my unpolished run :/ http://tasvideos.org/1833S.html I started again, improved first mission by 55 frames and I'll try QuickHex to skip areas that need no improving in my opinion. In second mission I use arrows to rescue hostages but it can be done a little faster with machine gun instead. In third mission, the wall could maybe be done faster but not much. In fourth mission destroying helicopters is only place where improvement could be possible. Fifth and sixth depend on laggy situations. Few thousand retries and few frames could be found :) Edit: I found TAS Movie Editor much easier to use than QuickHex. Not smart enought :( updated move - 1st mission improved

DK I watched your "promo-video". I wonder if it's slower to exp with low defense since multienemy fights hurt really bad. 1. You can't get KaiserKrab to miss with lousy defense. 2. You can't attack before KK without having more speed 3. You won't do enough damage with two criticals at lvl 3 to kill KK, so it rips you to pieces. Therefore it would be pointless to fight KK at lvl 3

My try was 114 minutes long. Someone should make a serious run. In my run Kaiser Crab was killed in some 15:30 but it can be done under 8:00 at fourth level and with a short sword [tested]. First level up is probably fastest if you can surprise Dark Jelly and Slimy Ooze three times in a row. Sure you could get xp faster from 2x2 Dark Jelly, but they would hit you badly once in a fight. Few herbs should be collected from chests or steal from Slimy Oozes. One angel feather from Man-Ape is also a must. I tried to get something from RAMsearch but couldn't understand how to manipulate monsters and attacks.

I knew that was possible. Well done. It was a bit corny to see Pelle have 16hp at this point of game :D I hope we'll see nice use for Black(?) Ring (e.g. defeating 3 enemies at the same attack).

Nice route choice! If only Balbaroy had better agility so he could get turn before all enemies in tower. Would save a lot of time.

Oh, an interesting note: Magic can do half criticals and full criticals. The first seems to be set by the spell, the second is based on the character's critical rate.
Very nice! *with Borat's voice* Now do you intend to get that Black/Evil Ring on the left side of Mishaela's altar? That could speed up battles where enemies are close each other, like Ramladu's Second. Using Halberd was not quite a new trick (It's fun to see it though), but did you just start manipulating level ups since I saw only important gains (attack and speed)? It seems Light Blade can't be used in this run, since Max is so slow, but can it be given to Bleu and use it for Bolt 2?

Fireskull boss is really awful to optimize since Dytto's Water Tornado can't be really controlled. I had luck and managed to do 2 seconds faster than normally :O Played 6:52:04 and gained 13 secs and 27 frames, which is much more than I hoped. Sabikage: Yeah, I remember I tested it after Atma's post, but it won't save nearly as much as normal improvements here and there.
