Wow that game certainly deserves a place in a corner of my heart... Didn't ever hear about it before. I downloaded a few different roms and, as you mentioned, they seem to be a bit glitchy (in Snes9x at least). Anyway, I'd be glad to create some graphics. I also dig the possibility to create your own tunes... Gotta check that out as well. Well nothing more to say about it... It would make a very original TAS for sure.

Yes, that would be nice. I'd be grateful if someone still had Luke's little BasicBot manual in his cache and could upload it somewhere. Well it's not that urgent, but anyway...

Agreed. The mere thought of an "all together" movie gives me wet pants... uh I know this is a bit rash, but... I hope we'll soon be able to watch a tiny WIP just to see how this could look.. no? (take that as an indirect command :D) Anyway.. I love and support this idea. There's no doubt that this run would be awesome and entertaining (especially if the two of you team up) Go for it!

No, but you might want to look at the most western edge of the forest.. using your yoga powers *hinthint* Doing the lab before getting the last ball seems impossible to me though. Well, I guess I'm gonna suggest the idea to the author if nobody has done it yet.. need to check the forums. Using fraps works, but he probably doesn't want to host several gigs of speedrun movies. EDIT: Alright, Bablo was faster :(

Indeed... quite frustrating at times Although I finally got all balls. Definitely a great game! Nice atmosphere/level design and all these lovely details <3 I guess someone should suggest the author to implement some kind of movie format. I'd really like to actually watch other people's speedruns of this game.

My all-time favorite N64 game is Banjo Kazooie.. It's one of the loveliest games ever made. You might also consider to get hold of its successor Banjo Tooie which I never owned and is not as great imo, but oh well... If you like Mario Kart you may also want to get Diddy Kong Racing. Well, duh... not actually insider tips or rare ware (no pun intended, reaally :P), but nevermind

Never ventured that far in round game... But I guess the pattern will always be the same, i.e. line up enough monsters to get diamonds in order to clear the level as fast as possible. While this would certainly be amazing for me the casual (spoiled :P) TAS-addict might decide to skip big parts of the run. Even with good strategies for each level it might turn out to be quite long (-> getting to level 100 - although from what I've heard the SNES version does not stop after level 100.. But the levels kinda repeat). Not too sure about Vs Cpu.. I'd rather like to see a Round Game run as well. I might do some testing with this game soon...

I loved this game when I first got it for my SNES so I already thought about making a run. A vs Cpu run to be precise. Round game seems to be too long and repetitive to me (or rather.. too much work). Well, if making a vs cpu run what level do you think should be chosen: easy/normal/hard? Are there even any differences apart from the fact that in easy and normal level there are more enemies to beat? Also, there's an even more difficult mode which can be accessed by pressing a certain key combination when selecting a vs cpu game.

I don't know the Castlevania series very well so I decided to play this game a bit before watching to get acquainted with its logic... What a berserk run! It was just short enough so the continuous hack&slay didn't get boring (it was pretty fun actually and there was enough variety). Probably a must-watch for people that know the game and still great for those that do not (like me). So I'd vote Yes if I could ;)

Rainbow Road from Mario Kart comes to my mind... The N64 version might be better even though it's probably the most boring course when played sober

I've been lurking here for quite some time now. This thread finally made me sign up. I was too lazy to ask for anyone's permission on turning his speedrun into a music video so I messed around with FCEU myself =/ No divine TA-skills involved (actually it's a shame), but here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLuCzanO5do Is it okay to mix runs of different games together? If so I might make a more serious attempt using an actual TAS from this site. :3
