Right. I don't think it makes sense to list planned continuations here. Which, by extent, also removes Godfather 2 (the book had accounted for this way before the first movie) and Matrix 2 (originally the Wachowskis were planning two movies, but there were so many scenes to include in the second one they had to split it further into two).
I think it sounds like a watered down version of Contra 3 (and unsurpringly, it is). I don't think there's any point in this when you can watch a TAS of actual Contra 3 without the sucky elements like slowed down character/fire rate and so on.
Personally, I don't think Cube 2 is much of a "take" on the original. I prefer thinking of it as a "concept demo" rather than a sequel. Maybe it helped that I watched it before the original Cube, but to me, it's a fine movie by itself. Probably because I'm a sucker for odd sci-fi concepts (even if they're just technobabble with flashy effects).
Assuming we're talking only about sequels that were genuinely supposed to be good (i.e., not something like Terminator 3 which was doomed before it came out).
• Third or fourth book of HHGTTG (it went downhill annoyingly fast after the second book).
• Doom 3.
• Might & Magic IX.
• Some other things I forgot.
If anything, I'd say the Collossi fights will take a fraction of the whole run's length, the rest of it being travels, semi-discarded story elements, and whatnot.
SotC is a good game, but TASing will, by far, not be the most entertaining thing to do with it, I'm afraid.
For me the highlights of the movie were:
1) character animation (priceless);
2) leprechauns;
3) the king's final speech and everything that happens after that. :)
It was more enjoyable than I had expected.
First, this article may be a good read.
Second, your host is unreachable for some reason. Use Microstorage.
[EDIT]
Ok, managed to download the file after some time.
Instead of Normal mode, I suggest doing Zanki Attack. It's alot harder, and it also looks harder, which is a big plus. The enemies won't be just mercilessly slaughtered, they will fight back. :)
Also, I suggest putting some more thought into lag reduction (the less objects are on the screen at any given time, the better, so kill excess enemies and deliver all shots at point-blank, preferrably). Don't hesitate to rerecord any amount of times if needed. Take your time and keep up the good work.
This kind of saddens me. People are using internet to tell everyone they've been ripped off, but fail to use it to choose and/or inquire the prices of potentially expensive purchases. Even more ironically, they unsuspectfully make the purchase first, and look it up only afterwards. :\
Saturn, for the last time, in case you didn't get it: just quit it.
You're behaving like a hypocritical douchebag, and your personal insults are in no way a method of settling "misunderstandings". Calling me childish after commiting a hundred childish acts here on the forum (the most recent of them mentioned in the previous sentence) just shows how huge a hypocrite you are, as if the others haven't seen it already.
I don't want to talk to you because it's absolutely fruitless; you've become quite disgusting to me, and satisfying your curiosity is the last thing I care about. This is my conscious decision, and if you have a problem with it, well, it's your problem and not mine.
This has officially been the last message I direct to you. Have fun harassing others until you get banned, which is, to be honest, overdue.
The account wasn't created by me, and to be honest I'm not entirely sure who it was created by. The point, however, is that creating multiple accounts is prohibited here no matter what the reason is.
Thanks for your consideration, of course, it's always welcome.
I'd have a 2D Metroid without lengthy cutscenes, anti-sequence-break systems, and dumbed down controls that restrict the player more than help them. This is actually way overdue.
Also, a 2D classic-style Castlevania would be awesome.
Resurrecting Megaman that has already passed through half a hundred iterations is kind of ironic, though.
I think it was discussed here before (Ask Bisqwit thread?): generally, Finns are socially shy and they seem to prefer silence and solitude to noise and large amounts of people gathered in one place. That's why the urge to minimize questions is normal to expect from them.
Russians, however, usually seem to ask the prices even if they're listed right under their noses, or not pay any attention to them at all until the check-out.
Doesn't sound like a "best buy" to me, lol. Out of curiosity, how much does the same kind of card cost in Finland? Cause I know I can (and did) get 4 GB for the same price here in Moscow quite easily.
Ah, a perfect Finn. :)
I'm much like that as well, although in my case it's rather not to minimize the needless communication, but because I like taking my time when choosing something already after I've learned the price, so I don't want to waste mine and others' time or make hasty decisions. Which means it doesn't concern me at all if there aren't many customers other than me there.
That's why it is a good idea to have a native citizen you're acquainted with to show you things.
Otherwise, my way of thinking is to attend something I would attend at home if there was such an opportunity. In regards to other cities and countries (not like I've visited many), I prefer doing whatever is natural to me, making it easy to accomodate.
