You worked on it for not more than 1.5 months, probably less (judging from the time of your previous submission), and that's still a VERY SHORT amount of time for a run that complex (almost 200 thousands of rerecords, for god's sake). Nearly the same for Sonic 2. Nearly the same for Sonic Advance 3. You submitted more than 10 runs since the beginning of this year alone, all of them of great quality, accepted and/or published. Dude, you're the fastest working TASer at the moment, and I mean it.

Those who are against that are in the minority, though. Besides, we have no other King's Bounty runs yet, and it this one would be entertaining to those familiar with the game (and for those who aren't, there's always a description text to clarify everything important). That's why it is accepted, IMO.

Well, we had "master ninja" Finalfighter who achieved his rank for continually breaking the NES Mega Man series masterfully. Now we also have Nitsuja breaking Genesis and GBA Sonic games just the same (not to mention the time saved in result). :)

There should be a brain icon next to runs that will screw up your brain if you watch them.
I thought of exact same things when I watched that famous Half-Life 2 speedrun. There really are some runs that just break your former views and conceptions on certain games and speedrunning in general to small pieces.

If "anything" = "a normally long game luckmanipulated into a very short run", then I think it isn't something really new.

Yeah, this run is one of the finest examples of good physics engine abuse. Every whip launch is a highlight by itself. :)

Oh, some other things I liked: • "(W) [!].bin" in the topic title • <NrgSpoon> CARNIVAL NIGHT WTF • <atro_city> This is awesome. He's making a complete mockery of the game. • <_LSK_> okay, icecap has me laughing out loud

I don't know what to say… This run is a blazing fast mixture of complex physics, big nonlinear levels and crazy megaman glitching. This run is a freaking essence of what most of us like (and strive for) here. This run… is simply awesome, and it's indoubtedly getting a 10 for entertainment from me (man, I laughed almost hysterically at least three times, even though I knew your times from AngerFist). You're a TASing genius, Nitsuja, and you prove that again and again. Thank you!

Are you certainly sure you can paste them without desyncs? And even if that's the case, it's still better to just redo them cause new improvements may pop up unexpectedly during the process.

Yes'd it. The run looked very funny (the minus worlds are really messed up), and I couldn't spot any possible improvements aside from the strange ending (couldn't it be ended a bit earlier?).

Try changing AVC decoder to ffdshow instead of CoreAVC.

Is this too short to have a point of doing it as short as possible? I don't get it.

In fact, there already is such a run, and it can hardly be improved.

Umm, so when is this run going to be published? I think 43 yes votes pretty much settle it.

Moreover, you can find even the ingame frame counter that goes from 0 to 65536 (and starts anew after that), in addition to the standard two digit hours, minutes, seconds and frames. Super Metroid allows you to monitor pretty much everything you want with great precision.

The description talks about the arm pump dash... doesn't that require single frame accuracy? How could you arm pump 30 times per second on a real controller in real time?
1. Arm pumping doesn't have to be frame perfect. Even pressing and releasing L or R for one (single!) time gives you one frame of advantage with the other things being equal. He did it a couple hundred times, which saved him a few seconds. 2. He didn't do it 30 times per second, that's obvious.
