He means you should do a better run if you know how. An arguable point, but so it is.

I guess I have to chop one of your legs off cause it's me who is the worst player on two legs. I will not tolerate any competitors!

I'm with FODA and badrad: not all the movies can be considered an animation, but definitely all of them are captured sequences of an actual gameplay.

Obviously, this is a great improvement timewise, but a pure sword-run isn't very pleasant to hear, cause using different animals is a matter of variety, and not using them somehow lowers it quite considerably. When speedrunning GA III with Panther back in 90's, I used pretty much the same move (R, L, R, attack+jump) almost all the time, and it really helped me not to get hit and deliver 100% accuracy at the same time. Still, if I TAS'd this game, I'd most probably didn't use it at all just for the sake of entertainment. But well, I say that without looking at the result, so would you mind sharing a WIP? I sure seem sceptical, your work may be much funnier than I think it is now.

LOL! Your last move before Ridley appeared was very entertaining, I think you should keep it.

Ah sorry, my fault: Gens reported the correct config is 6 buttons for both players, and that confused me a bit. After I changed 1P gamepad to 3 buttons, everything went alright. Thanks anyway. By the way, good movie you have there /*-! The game seems very TAS'able with all those slash moves. One question: in the last stage, where you fell down those shafts, was it possible to make kicking/diving move right before the door to the next location? Other than that, I have no reasons not to vote 'yes' (not that it makes any difference, but oh well). P.S. I hate Genesis' graphics.

Looking smooth, and I really like how you score. :)

Nah, seems you've missed: both controllers are configured right. It's a pity, though. But wait, I have a solution. Could someone mail me working .cfg file?

Wow thanks FODA! Especially nice that they are already supported by foobar. I love foobar.

Hmm, may be so. How exactly should I configure the controllers? I'll try it when I come home.

Yeah, this new run ought to be at least as fun as the present one (especially during the waiting sequences). However, 7+ seconds for just the first level is already cool. :)

OMG, that's too good to be true. Finally, it seems we'll have a full set of new standard SM videos here. Thank you and good luck!

Isn't BitTorrent a P2P?
It is. The difference is BT is a release/distribution network, and ed2k (also Gnutella, SoulSeek and all the others) is a file sharing network.

Actually, a run at ridiculous speed may be much more appealing to the major audience, especially to those who haven't beat AoS in both normal and hard modes (I have done that, and I like your run). KDR_11k is right, that's what most people like in TASes. On the other hand, if you're really that sure you can do a 100% soul collection run (man, I admire your determination!), hard mode won't be as slow cause you'll have enough time to level up significantly before you collect most of them.

Well yes of course! BTW, this movie reminds me of Achewood comic. :D

Yeah, I've never even seen Symphony of the Night, but supposedly that's the game that changed everything.
I've seen it, but not played it yet. I guess I should beat it before a TAS comes out, heh. Much people say that's the greatest game in the series.

The torches on his way up the elevator, specifically. He has to move, attack, collect, and move back.
The elevator has a period of latency of about the same length as PS's whole maneuver. I doubt he lost any frames at all, given the fact he actually regained some spell points for soul use.

As for the enemies bit, I'd have to have someone instruct me on how to identify the current frame and watch it so I could identify the specific occurances.
Open up the Tools menu in VBA, and you'll see a frame counter there.
