I'm having problems watching it too; what plugins are you using?

Isn't anti-DS Mupen kind of frowned upon? I don't know for sure, I'm just asking. Anyway, screw that. It's amazing that you managed to get a full TAS (even if it is just a test) out of this, what with all the desynchs. Look forward to updates.

Hmm I always thought that yahooo jumps were always faster than woha and woohoo/oohoo jumps.
On places without slopes, diving is apparently faster than LJing, so it's not surprising that sicking one in where it's possible would save a few frames, even in the beginning.

Wait, I think he does mean how to BLJ on the basement... Easy: hop on top of it, and do a normal long jump, but hold the control stick in the direction of Mario's starting direction. In theory.

Yes...needs work. As Stickyman05 said, you need to rerecord...a lot. If you were using the TAS Input Plugin, you need to use frame advance and test each stick position to see if it works the best.

You know you play a single game too much when you try to post something here that matches the format of everyone else's, but all you can come up with are sappy SM64 lines.

How many times can you say "the" in a single sentence and have it still make sense
An infinite amount of times? Just make a normal sentence and add a million nouns in it...(eg, "The dog, the cat, the ostrich, the tiger........etc.....had the party on the island")

The only limit that universally applies to everyone is the 100mb upload.
Actually, they have a little upload thing that lets you upload up to a gig (I think) of video, but still only 10 minutes...it's either any amount of time and under 100 gigs, or vice versa. (EDIT: cancel out the "above 10 minute" part) Anyway, this feature is kickass! Is the encoding done automatically? If so, how long does it take? Under the current circumstances, what would be the maximum amount your upstream could take?

Heheh, "TWYNDYLLYNGS" is the longest vowel-less word in the Oxford Dictionary... I think "myrrh" has something special about it...maybe one of the very few that has no actual vowel sound or official vowels? Assuming stuff like "tsk", "hmmm" don't count.

What 4 letters have the most anagrams which are also words? No double letters. Brand names and proper nouns count as words here, provided they are fairly common. My best is E, N, O, S: NOSE (That thing between your eyes) NOES (Plural of no) NEOS (Plural of neo) ENSO (A type of Ferrari car) SONE (A measure of sound) ONES (Plural of one)
Since it's actually "Enzo", I think I can beat your five: E,A,T,S ATES: a kind of Spanish fruit pastry EAST: commonly used direction EATS: plural of "eat" ETAS: plural of Greek letter SATE: to satiate SEAT: something you sit on TEAS: plural of "tea"

Don't expect to get much quality without full frame advance and the TAS Input plugin. Study the published movies and check out their inputs for some general ideas... Are you planning to try and beat any of the still active runs?

Elaborate. I assume you're talking about glitches, which obviously don't apply to every game. Many of these glitches are taken advantage of by non-TASers; I doubt anyone who loves a game, TASer or not, would consider it "sucky" because of it's glitches.

Isn't it the 120 star version of Mario 64 that has the current star? I'm not quite getting if people are joking about a 0 star movie getting a star, if people didn't consider that it was the 120 star version has the current star, or if people are serious about giving the Mario 64 star to the any% version... just wondering.
Are stars for more than one category not allowed? No sarcasm or anything, I'm just curious. Personally I think this is a perfect example of an any% run, and the 120 star is a perfect example of an all% run.
