Second best Beethoven sonata evar. ;) Must be some sort of mp3 to m64 converter.
Anyway, unchecking Raw Data fixes the desynch at the beginning of Dam?
EDIT: Nevermind, just had to switch to the TAS Plugin.
D. Bq.:
When did Nesvideos officially become TASVideos?
and
Do you prefer direct, generic, factual questions like the one above? Or more philosophical, opinionated-type questions?
D. Bq.:
Why ".org"? Was it the only option you had, or did you think .com or .net (or something) was a bad idea?
Also, why isn't there a way to go directly to someone's post from either their post history or from using the search function? Or if you can, how? =[
Nah, I'm really REALLY busy for the next two weeks, so you can expect basically no progress. When October hits, I will definitely have a lot more time, and plenty of WIPs will be made.
Well, that's fair; that last one was kind of a dumb joke (thus, the "scratch that"), though most of my last questions were pretty serious. Oh well, this will probably be my last question/post on this thread.
Dear Fabian:
What is an exemplary question for this thread?

Hän , jotta sinun kehittynyt asiantuntemus -lta kielenkäyttö aikaa antaa , on minun Finnish joten aivan niin hirmuinen?
You are saying:
He, in order that your developed expertise -from use of language gives time, is my "Finnish", so that almost as terrible?
(As precise translation of what you wrote as possible (precise not possible because English grammar restricts on the word order, losing some of the ill-adviced nuances). Yes, SysTran is absolutely horrible at translating from/to Finnish.)
I've kind of found that SysTran pretty much fails at every language (along with most other free internet ones). IIRC, I put in something like "why, in your advanced knowledge of the subject, is my Finnish so sickeningly awful?".
No Finnish person would be able to interpret that correctly. My best guess is that you're asking "Since you're an expert, is my Finnish horrible?".
Well, you interpreted it correctly, and you seem to be Finnish. Therefore your two points kind of contradict each other. And I had no idea which languages Fabian spoke; I was just asking him because this seems to be the appropriate thread for asking Fabian stuff.
But, for the sake of the thread...
Dear Fabian: Scratch that last one, I figured out the answer myself.
D. Bq.:
1. Do you have anyone from the TASVideos forums on Skype, and if so, do you talk to them with audio and/or webcam?
2. If you had to choose one TASer who's no longer around anymore to have come back, who would it be?
3. About how much does this site cost to keep up per month? (Excluding stuff like new hardware costs and repairs)
4. What do you think was the most controversial...(and why?)
a) topic on the site?
b) movie made on the site/community?
5. Many people on this forum seem to be Finnish. Have you ever met a single one in person?
6. How many movies have you seen across the net that originate from this site without any information regarding how it was made or where it comes from? (eg, omg guy beats super mario borthesr in 12 mins lolol)
I realise these are all pretty boring questions, but virtually all of them have been on my mind for a while.
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2100+ running at 1566 MHz and with 1 GB of RAM; Gentoo Linux operating system; three IDE disks at 20 GB, 120 GB and 200 GB sizes; an optical mouse, a very bare IBM keyboard and an Acer AL1714 TFT display.
Wow, quite modest for the founder of TASVids..heheh
Last one >_<.
D. Bq.:
Did you know anyone currently on this site before you actually made the site?
Are you proud of the almost philosophical elements of the FAQs and other areas of the main site (especially the "Cheat FAQ" and parts like that)?
Yes, I am proud of the parts of those articles that I wrote. It has been exciting; there is rarely chance for me to write content like that.
That's cool; those FAQs were basically the main things that attracted me to this site (more than the actual movies, ironically).
One more...D. Bq.:
What are the basic specs of your most used PC?
Erm, Canadian spelling. *looks around suspiciously*
Anyway, one more question for now.
D. Bq.:
Are you proud of the almost philosophical elements of the FAQs and other areas of the main site (especially the "Cheat FAQ" and parts like that)?
When super/quatum computers become available and are used for TASing, would that be the end of TASVideos? Would most forum topics, WIPs, and players instantly become worthless? Assuming that the computers would handle all types of TASes, would there even be a point in having a poll or deciding whether it would be worth it to publish?
Not an optimist, eh?
Anyway, moar questions:
1. How long do you plan to keep remaining active in this thread? It seems like kind of a hastle to answer all of these questions.
2. Did you come up with the idea of NESVids having an IRC channel? If not, who did (there's probably a thread in the General forum talking about it from years ago, but I couldn't find it)?
3. Where/how did you learn English?
4. Did you get into (or have any interest at all in) Japanese before NESVideos was founded?
5. When you founded the site, did you anticipate the eventual TASing of N64 games?
6. Why phpBB? (not that I'm complaining ;)
7. Are my questions basically the stupidest?
Dear Bisqwit:
1. When super/quatum computers become available and are used for TASing, would that be the end of TASVideos? Would most forum topics, WIPs, and players instantly become worthless? Assuming that the computers would handle all types of TASes, would there even be a point in having a poll or deciding whether it would be worth it to publish? Would TASes become far less entertaining, knowing that they simply cannot be beaten? Would you consider limiting or even banning TASes not played by humans to keep the essence of the site? Would you still consider not accepting submissions because the TAS isn't particularly fun to watch, even though it is literally the fastest possible video?
2. You got NesVideoAgent to detect "beauty" for screenshots. Do you think it would be possible to get a supercomputer to make a TAS as entertaining as possible by using the same basic rules (eg, more jumps, as many screen changes as possible, etc)?
