I searched "antivirus". 557,000 hits back then vs. 129,000,000 today. I can't decide whether I'm surprised or not.

It's a small improvement
Your submission was no different. A 51 frames improvement is significant knowing the length of this run is only 5 minutes and 32 seconds long. Which means, the shorter a movie is, the harder it is to improve it.
My run had just under 6 seconds of improvement, while this has just under 2. 51 frames is hardly worth a new submission if you're not gonna care about making the run watchable with the camera angles. I still think it should be published though, leave me alone..
Don't mind me pointing out that you expected your submission to be something like 2 seconds faster before you found your unanticipated improvements. Had you not found that extra stuff, I suppose you wouldn't have submitted, since it would've been hardly worth it?

Thank you very much. Anyway, I'm glad nobody mentioned the camera angles this time.

also falling into the fire against bowser #2 might be something that other people do not care about but it looked ugly to me
This was required. [22:12] <mr_roberts_z> The position after he comes up makes Mario grab Bowser's tail closer to the bomb, so there's less distance Bowser has to fly.

Here's a new, perfectly synced AVI(449MB) to tide everyone over until the run gets published...
Thanks for that encode. OHMYGOD that was awesome. I'm not exactly an OoT connoisseur, but the whole run looked and felt ridiculously clean and well played. I actually laughed at the Ganon battle. My only complaint would be the assload of cutscenes, but that hardly matters. Awesome job; easy Yes vote.

Initially I bought the gamepad because it was so cheap and I thought it would be cool to play some (s)nes games with it. However, I have noticed using it more and more, so I upgraded it to this: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/gamepads/devices/264&cl=us,en
I think that's one of the most popular USB PC controllers out there (if not the most popular). I have one. EDIT: (note that I didn't derive the second sentence of this post from the first)

That's that speed/entertainment balance I was talking about. Yes vote. (just to clarify, I'd also prefer the other one to be published instead, but that doesn't look likely)

Just got back from my first ever trip to europe, and I was interested to notice the other side of a few things you mentioned. Soda really is cheap in the states, as most of the places I went to eat it cost as much as beer. Also, it seems that hotels in europe dont have the same fixation of TV that american ones do, only 1 out of 5 different hotels had more then 10 channels, one had no TV at all. Also, what does that continent have against ice? We take it as a given in the states that if you order a coke, it comes cold and on ice. Not so lucky overseas.
Can I guess that you went to Italy?

To be fair there aren't any "support" forums. Maybe there should be.
Why? 99% of the questions people ask are in the FAQ. I request that the blue message at the top of the screen is not noticable enough, and should either undergo a colour/size change or be moved to somewhere more likely to be read.
This. Maybe put it beside the TAS logo? Or in giant letters above the "Post a reply" window.

This forum is used primarily for the discussion of various N64 games, each generally represented by one topic. This is not a support forum. As you can see at the top of the page, the FAQ is waiting for you.

I've noticed him too. I agree that he could be very valuable (especially for 100% runs on YouTube), but what he's doing now is kind of sloppy...the least he could do are mark down the author's name and the length of the movie (I know these are subtitles in the encode, but still).
