Channels are not really designated as music. Games can share music and SFX channels. Sometimes a game's music will degrade when sound effects are being played. Ever noticed that? This is what I'm worried about.
I know, but something has to be done to prevent the thing from being reduced to unlistenable cacophany. Complete silence doesn't seem like an ideal solution, either.

I meant disabling the music channels in each instance of fceu, then encoding.

I just watched thanks to the generously provided AVI, and holy wow. What a beautiful piece of sensory overload. If at all possible in the final avi, could all of the music channels be muted except for one, leaving only one game's music and all games' sound effects?

Metroid Prime surpassed any vision of Super Metroid in 3D I could have ever had. It's nuts awesome and quite possibly more fun than any video game I've ever played. I saw everything that was meant to be seen (meaning everything that wasn't under water or in an unpowered room), and it was glorious. With every newly discovered item I lit up with glee. Every battle was incredibly intense and not once did I feel as if I weren't in complete control. Particularly difficult puzzles didn't faze my patience, a true rarity indeed. In sum, I disagree with this article. Er, I mean, GOD JXQ YOUR ARTICLE SUCKS WHY CAN'T YOU AGREE WITH ME (the dark rooms complaint had me wtfing quite a bit, however)

The first minute and a half lulls you into a false sense of boredom. Just when you're about to turn it off, the glitch pops up, the game ends, and you're forced to watch again just to see what in living hell happened. Yes.

Or if there were a BLJ point into the attic door. That would rule. I second the AVI request, by the way. As I'm on Kubuntu I haven't the means to watch this no doubt amazing run and wine-ing Mupen is an exercise in pure pain.

On one hand I say yes because I like seeing a game that I rented over and over again when I was six completely and effortlessly demolished when I couldn't complete one damn level. On the other hand some levels are ridiculously tedious to watch (dinosaur and waterslide), and it's a pretty terrible game all around as opposed to the decent Bart's Nightmare. I think for those that played and got endlessly frustrated at the game such as myself, it's overall enjoyable, so I decided on yes.

Yeah, it's only the transitions that are freezing, which leads me to believe that it's an emulation glitch rather than anything to do with the encoding.

Vegas Stakes is probably frame-perfect, barring some undiscovered glitch (which, really, is the case with any run perceived as frame-perfect).

If anything should be destarred it should be the 120-star Mario 64 run. It's fantastic and all, but no first-time viewer's going to sit through Dire, Dire Docks seven times.

I had to get rid of the Ninja ability at the end of Lololo as to mildly manipulate what abilities would be available to me in the next round.
