BadPotato: two questions - (1) have you chose to recruit Futch and Humphrey early in the run? and (2) have you at least got past the story where Jowy murdered Annabelle of Muse?

I'm not too big of a Linux fan, but I am sure most distros of that and maybe even Unix would make things pretty simple. Apple releasing Mac OS X more likely started a new but twisted revolution because from 9.2.2 and earlier was more simpler than it can be, at least the way most users would see it. Microsoft on the other hand may have became jealous of the strong arm of Mac OS X and decide to release versions of Windows that seem to be almost within the scope of OS X. The one thing I hate the most is Genuine Advantage validations. So what if Windows seems to be pirated. Apple doesn't do that but they still keep an eye out for things that look suspicious. As a final thought, I explain that Apple continues to carry a stronger arm than Microsoft when it comes to efficient operating systems that's not a bunch of "resource pigs" on Old McDonald's farm. But the moment that I ever look to fully adjust to Mac OS X, especially within Leopard/Snow Leopard, that will take time and guts.

Of course, I think I learned that it can be difficult to combine speed, entertainment, and accuracy into a game that a player is trying to TAS. For that, I feel questioned as to whether or not this will go through. Although a lot of effort and countless weeks worth of input is placed into games like this, especially most RPG games that require extensive endurance (since most can take well over an hour to beat), I am still questioned. I enjoyed playing Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, but that's far beyond the SNES console. I really like to see this run, but I don't know if it's compatible with v1.43+ v15.4 lua 0.05

I give Christopher Reeve the credit for playing a great movie role as Superman, but I have to agree on this one.

Okay, the Sabre. As many times as I played the game, it looks like he's got a cape on his back.

There is no telling about Microsoft forcing XP users to really get out that OS and go into Vista's expense, but not everyone can afford to upgrade - unless it's a brand new copy sold at cheaper prices at auctions or even eBay. For my notebook, it started with XP Media Center - then I gave Windows 7 a try. I now seek to live upon that operating system for as long as my notebook can hold it. It's faster and uses less memory than Vista thus far; the only way my computer crashes under 7 is if my "mobile techology" feature of my CPU can't take the excessive heat and does a hard shutdown (abort). Rats.

There is something to look out for when you're TAS'ing towards the end of the game. After X gets the X-Buster upgrade from Neon Tiger's stage and Zero's cape from the second stage of Doppler's lab, X will have to launch not one but two supercharged fire-shots before executing Zero's cape. The reason I say this is because I noticed it when I was testing through Doppler's lab.

Are you still trying to deal with virtual CD image changing or did you manage to go into Disc 2?

The gold armor upgrade should also include all four special chips from pink machines. There should be a pink machine at Toxic Seahorse and Toxic Hornet stages. The Gold Armor upgrade should be at Dr. D's first stage.

Standing closer to each enemy increases the chance for a more critical shot. Make sure Aya does not suffer darkness/blindness.

Not to bump or anything, but has any of you ever heard of CPU-Z? That's supposed to give the breakdown of each system and that may also help some of you find answers to the FLOP questions and even the frequency of the RAM. I used that to help me overclock my notebook's AMD chip. However, I do not have the hardware that is strong enough to stand up to this emulator or even the PS2.

Yeah, no joke - easily seeing how badly the 2nd place car was beat! And to say the least, would this be done better in Arcade mode or Simulation?

On top of all of this, I like the graphics! One thing that bores me a little is no music during the rounds. There is sound along the way which includes those from Alex Trebek and Johnny Gilbert. The rest of the entertainment will have to rely on the user's input. Speaking of manipulation, Alex gives the option to change the categories - however, I don't know if that will help straighten up the Daily Doubles.

Hyena: I got news for you. The game is likely the exact same thing as Family Feud and I noticed it. I found an example under the category "Artists" for $400.
Renoir was born in this French city known for its porcelain, and at 13 he was a porcelain decorator.
Answer: Limoges Modified answer: A Limousine Guest I don't know if you're still attacking this game, but I think we can go for another round of humor.

I also once noticed that X is able to defeat Toxic Hornet with the Gravity Well.

There was supposed to be an upgrade found at Tunnel Rhino's stage, that is placed on X's head. Every time he first appears at a stage - his forehead lights up, screen darkens, and displays a series of squares in green-grid (like the 5x3 grid in Super Metroid almost) that indicates the entire stage + some of the hidden items. I would try to get that last, hopefully after beating Dr. Doppler - because that wastes a lot of frames every time it is summoned. If I had to start this attempt, I would simply start with the Toxic Seahorse stage because there is first of 8 container hearts which are easy to grab. Other stages are tougher to go through and may require ride-armor robots to do such dirty work. An example: a container heart is buried under several mega-blocks of ice in Blizzard Buffalo stage; it took a ride-armor to penetrate deep and get that. As far as Toxic Seahorse goes, of course I noticed a way to defeat him faster using a special technique demonstrated in a TAS attempt by FractalFusion. But Seahorse does nothing but jump around and it could take a few full-powered mega-busters to defeat him. Toxic Seahorse supplies Acid Burst for X, which can then be used as one of Tunnel Rhino's weaknesses.

Question here, and I'll keep searching. Has anyone done or submitted an X3 run where items and upgrades are 100%? This means all 8 heart containers, all upgrades from blue machines, all 4 robots, Zero's cape, and maybe even gold armor. It may take time to get it all, but as much as I once played this game, I am sure it can be possible.

Mega Man X always gets the best ratings, at least on technical terms. 9/9 on this one!

I once saw a trick where Snake does not get guard's attention if he rapidly toggles item holding on and off (no, not holding down the L2/R2 for inventory). Even though it seemed noisy/annoying, it was useful to move around platforms that make footstep noises and get guard's attention. Try that and see how many frames you might get.

I think FractalFusion is best known for most Mega Man runs, and as many as I have seen, I am sure he's no stranger to the X series. Mega Man X-1 is the series that started it all on SNES and later migrated to PS1 and so forth. Everyone should know that. For this TAS, I think I have seen some newer techniques combined with the latest, and that is why I would rate this run as a 9.75/9.75 which I believe is close enough to perfect.

If the hookshot can help speed up Link's movement, that is my only input here. I can't think of anything else and the bases are already covered.
