Yeah, I've had a good time. I made some new friends and respected a number of people. But my recent harsh actions became the reason they lost their respect for me, and now I understand. I doubt they'll even forgive me within a million years. So whether or not I do belong here, I'm finally pulling the cord, cancelling my TAS projects, and saying goodbye. This time, I am not requesting a name-change. I am requesting my account to be deleted for good and placed to rest. I don't care how long it will take or what it takes since phpBB is well-modded. Complete removal from this site is all I'm asking. I like to thank everyone for allowing me to take part in this site and allowing me to contribute everything I would know. We'll all meet again soon. Game over, farewell. ^_^

I hate to brag, but I've placed my laptop on the shelf and pull out an eMachines W3502 that I once used for college. It has a 3200 MHz Intel Celeron D... overclocked to 4368 MHz! The clock that I have is an ICS 951417 - most advanced nerds call these PLL's. Google it, otherwise, I'm too much of a nerd - which I have no problem. ^_^ http://www.cpu-cool.de/FSB.HTM

Before I watch your WIP, did you start off with Tunnel Rhino? I figured that would already be an advantage because that stage has a reserve tank and a container heart. I want to save the grid-map helmet upgrade for last, because once X appears on any stage, he can't move for a second or two and a green grid-map display above his head. It does take a lot of frames. The way Rhino's container heart is laid out, it consists of a spike pit with a big rock above it. X can't just dive head-first into that spike pit or it's game-over. I am sure it is possible to take damage from an enemy just to endure through this spike pit and get the container heart. The downside is that X has no enemies on the other side and has to use death, going all the way back to the beginning. The other way is to defeat Volt Catfish to get Triad Thunder and breakthrough a wall at the Neon Tiger stage to get an X-Buster upgrade from a blue capsule. Then go back to Rhino's stage and use the combined weapons/upgrades to knock the rocks down so X can get to the container-heart and the grid-map helmet. Rhino's weapon is needed to break through a wall at the Neon Tiger stage to get X-Buster upgrade, a wall in one of the hangars at Toxic Hornet's stage to get the first of 4 robot-riders, the mega-cubes at Blizzard Buffalo's stage to get another container heart from there, and possibly a crumbled wall at Crush Crawfish's stage where a heavy cannonball machine crashed through 4 or 5 floors - another container heart is there, too.

My route is planned totally different. And if I went to the other thread, this could create confusion for some.

Okay, there has already been a 100% completion of Mega Man X and X2, where everything has to be collected. To say the least, 8 container hearts and all upgrades from blue pedestals. This game consists of 8 container hearts, 4 robot riders, about 4 upgrades from blue pedestals, 4 chip upgrades from pink pedestals, Zero's Sabre, and the special golden armor. The game has limited X where he can only pick one chip upgrade from a pink pedestal which will haunt him for the remainder of the game, meaning he can't get the other three. But on the first Dr. Doppler stage, he can get all 4 chip upgrades and the golden armor in one go. However to do that, his health must be maximum. Since robot ride armor does come into play, maybe I can use that just for entertainment? Let me know what you guys think on that. Last but certainly not least, most of my run will consist of all frame-by-frame techniques set by FractalFusion back in 2006. It's a long road and it could take countless days, but my research on this will be insane. Bart Simpson gets the boot - sorry, Sami.

I guess I can just proceed to SNES because I've really planned a 100% Mega Man X-3 attempt. I got bigger plans, people, don't worry - i'll behave! Wish I had one more name change... ^_^

I have another idea. Have you tried any technique to corrupt save data? I thought it would help. Maybe it mess up experience where it's in the millions or something, as a result. Try that, Kirk! ^_^

I been very slowly in-and-out working on "vs. The World". I watched some of the non-TAS'es of this game on YouTube, though, and it looked like any form of entertainment could be dead or very limited. It appears that no glitches can be found, but if there is, let me know before hand. I'm thinking about TAS'ing this game in the future, but only for timeattack purposes. Entertainment is thrown out the window.

Voting yes, indefinitely. I like the glitches, they always catch my attention. ^_^

Wait a second! Look for a Japanese ISO of this game and try that for the post-Rex defeat. Perhaps Liquid's speech can be cut short now that he has to talk Japanese. Don't worry, I'll get a hold of the ISO myself.

And that is why I said this is do or die. I'm aware of redundancy, but that's what could likely happen when I get feedbacks that say this can be improved and that can be improved. I can't ignore that, and I don't think anybody else would either. But you bet this is my last submission, period. No matter what happens here, I'm already moving on to another game and I'm done with the Warwick Davis on this one already.

Moving straight advances Willow in a speed sequence of "1,2,1,1,2" pixels while moving diagonally goes only one. There was not even a "Zelda 1" breakthrough in this game because I already tried it. Willow cannot go too far on one side of a screen where he can later appear on the opposite. Like breaking through the left side of the screen while re-appearing from the right, it doesn't work. It may take a hacked ROM to do that.

Also I was wondering, do you have in straight line everytime? Does moving diagonnaly could create an interesthing dance??

So "inaccuracy of MP" is not a glitch even though I abused that? Darn, I thought it was. And I thought also that avoiding enemy encounters (including some that push Willow back) also involved luck manipulation?! Two lefts don't make a right.

The stage layouts are the same. But the biggest difference I noticed was that this game had one chopper in the second stage while the NES version had two. Just in case this gets published, I'll vote yes on this one. If it looks improvable and you want a faster run, go for it! ^_^

Okay, I was right the first time because I thought this forum was specifically for talking about TAS'ing any game for any console, regardless. Added "[PS3]" into the header to ensure distinguishment (I'm surprised it's not even a word) from non-PS3 games.

I don't know if anyone here owns a fat or slim PS3, but some of you may have heard that this racing game is planned to hit the stores around Feb/Mar of 2010. I already went to GameStop to reserve my copy a few weeks back, already paid in full. And then I read that there is already a free-download of this game that serves as a demo and a contest to see who would get the fastest in-demo lap times before the end of this month. Do I have any Gran Turismo fans here? What are your thoughts? P.S: I know this is a game but I doubt we even have a PS3 emulator to TAS this game.

Okay, as I explained in my 5th draft, my Nockmaar strategy involved defeating Kael before seeing Raziel. Then I guess some of you were saying that you wanted to see what it was like to see Raziel and then defeat Kael on my way to Bavmorda. I thought I can save that alternate strategy and use it to my advantage as I want to plan a 100%-completion run of this game. This is where I have to get all items, all weapons, and all shields. And I thought I can throw in a maximum score aim as well where I get 99,990 ex. If anyone is interested in wanting to see a 100% and maximum score (experience) run, let me know within the next few weeks. Thanks! ^_^

I just watched the encode and it kept me entertained all the way through! I liked it! Yes vote. [offtopic] ~cyber-slaps m&mbossman~ - STFU already, retard! I'm here to have fun. But if for any reason you're not, then get your punk-a$$ off of this website. Case closed, and that's all I got to say to you. =/ [/offtopic]
