Due to the fact I am in the process of moving house, I will be incapable of publishing any movies or indeed be reliably active. The reason this message is not more formal is because I have no access to a landline based internet connection. I am typing this via my fathers iPhone. I will be bored out of my mind during this absense no doubt, but take note of this. I still care very much about publishing movies for TASVideos and that I hope this is only a short break.

"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate

On that note: In two days I'll be on holidays; I'll have my laptop with me, but not likely to do any encoding with it (I burnt out a fan in my laptop the last time I drove it that hard). For that matter, I'm not sure if the internet connection I'll have there will lend itself to seeding, so...

Due to some further information, it turns out I may wind up limited to a dial up connection (if I get one) until janurary. Because of this, I temporarally resign as publisher. That is all.

If it's only until Janurary, then there's no need to take your title as publisher from ya.

Three weeks is long enough for my eyes, I mean, without either Grunt or I being able to do the work, the other remaining publishers will have the workbench absolutely flooding them, something that would make me sad. Also, no, Dad isn't letting me tether the iPhone to my laptop, not even for IRC only usage, the 750 megabyte download/upload cap has made him paraniod. Incidentally, I've been working on the Somari TAS and have found that FCEUX is incapable of emulating the game correctly, getting past Labyrinth 3 without level select is impossible, if I am able to get a dial up account soon, I will display why. Why isn't this in the Somari topic? I know no one will bother looking there, that, and making two different posts is a pain with an iPhone.

Try to install an IRC app on the iPhone :P Couldn't you monitor the usage of the iPhone. Like how many mb you used for the current month ? I know I can with my Internet Provider, but I don't know if you can on your cellphone carrier.

Okay, due to exceptional circumstances, I may be able to have ADSL at my fathers very soon, we are both amazed. We expected Dial Up until January. I am at my Mothers and now take my leave off publishing, but I will not be able to publish at my previous rate. Lock this topic please. Edit: Incidentally, somehow, I became a MotionMaker on DailyMotion, lets party! I wish I found out sooner, damn lack of internet. =p

Is this MotionMaker account fine with falling under the TASVideos umbrella? I'm thinking of setting up some automated system to upload to some of these sites.

There is a snag with the whole Motion Maker thing. You must submit movies longer then 20 minutes as Creative Content, and the DailyMotion staff is both slow (For approving or rejecting creative content) and unreceptive to TASs. I have uploaded the whole single part video of Crusader of Centy (Which lacks any DailyMotion links at the moment due to splitting issues) a few days ago, and they still haven't accepted or rejected it. An automated system would work great for sub-20 minute movies however. However, if they do approve the Crusader of Centy TAS, I think it could be an effective (If not heavily delayed) solution for post 20 minute movies.

I could be away, too. If I do, it won't be too long. We'll miss you, Flygon. ^_^

Uh... several posts ago, I've stated the circumstances have changed. I've actually asked for the topic to be locked.
